Comfortable, welcoming and in a great location

Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Location, room comfort, value for money
Cons: N/A
Location: Within 10 mins walk of central Florence and its many attractions. The immediate area (Oltrarno) contains a number of pleasant trattorias & enotecas.
A very enjoyable stay at this B&B in central Florence. The location is on the south side of the river, hardly more than 5 mins stroll from the Ponte Vecchio and so an ideal base for sightseeing. Room was comfortable and exceptionally quiet at night. Breakfast was simple but tasty (fruit, yoghurt, freshly baked pastries/cakes and a good selection of teas & coffees). Signora Pucci and her daughter Catherina were very welcoming hosts, and provided helpful tips about the city, as well as booking restaurants/taxis. Overall, highly recommended.

I felt like I were at a family home.

This B&B is perfect if one wishes to come back to a restful place after work or sightseeing. Being across the Arno in a quiet neighborhood with local restaurants adds to the perfect experience of a traveler not a tourist. The laundromat is on the same street and small grocery stores at the square and another a few blocks away. Caterina and Tamara are very helpful. I will return.

Casa Pucci was the best places we stayed in Italy! Near all the tourist stuff but in a fun, less-touristy neighborhood. Surrounded by great artisan shops and delicious restaurants. Our room was very quaint and clean, lovely outdoor area to eat breakfast every morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would go back to Florence just to stay here again!

Real authentic florentine hospitality and a lovely hotel makes you feel like a local... The owner is lovely and can't do enough to help you and the rooms a nicely decorated with a garden to enjoy in the evenings... So easy to get to everything from here... I will definitely book again in the future...

Amazing City Retreat!

Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: Large, quite, private rooms with common courtyard. Words cannot describe how perfect and lovely the courtyard was.
My husband and I tend to enjoy hotels that are away from more touristy areas, while still providing all the amenities of bigger chains, and Casa Pucci did not fail to deliver. Although across the river, the location is walkable to all sites within 15 minutes. The Pucci family was overwhelmingly hospitable, sweet, and welcoming.

Close to everything. 10-15min walk and you are in the middle of everything you want to see. Very good local restaurants / bars around the corner. Owners were really nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a homelike feeling at Firenze.
