Great location, friendly staff

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Hotel Dali has a great location, very close to the Duomo. Restaurants and shopping abound. No air conditioning which was the biggest drawback when I recently stayed. Clean, comfortable rooms with ceiling fan. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Hôtel agréable et idéalement situé

Posted Jul 23, 2015

Central location but too hot

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Central location
Cons: They should put air conditioning in the room
Location: Don't miss the amazing view from the hill: Piazzale Michelangelo. It's a 20 minutes walk from the hotel.
This hotel was located very central (walking distance from the most popular spots in the city). The room itself and the shared bathroom were clean. There was no air conditioning in the room, which was very missed by us. It was really too hot in the room to breath and sleep normal (38 degrees). We went to sleep in sweat and woke up in sweat. So that wasn't pleasant. Free parking was excellent in this busy city! But the route to the parking place was quit difficult and the entrance was very(!) narrow. There was no breakfast included in the deal, but they supplied a complimentary basket with some breakfast kinda products (biscuits, croissant, confiture, coffee, tea). So that was nice! So, when you can stand a lot of heat: yes, go here. Otherwise: book a hotelroom with AC.

Posted Jul 16, 2015

Sehr gute Lage. Das war's.

Keine Klimaanlage. Laut. Heiß. Nicht wirklich sauber. Die Lage ist dagegen sehr gut.

Good location close to Duomo. Friendly Staff

Posted Jun 23, 2015
More of a hostel/villa type feel but still for the price it is a reasonable hotel. We received a nice welcome gift on arrival of a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. Make sure you book a room with the private bathroom. It doesn't have a view of the duomo like it shows on the picture though. That view is from the front door of the hotel. Not much else to say. Location is good. It is quiet clean which is always high on our list. Beds are hard and pillows are paper thing. Our fan/light combo was broken which was quiet annoying as we couldn't have the fan on while sleeping without the light. So it was quiet warm. Asked for it to be fixed after the first night. But after night 3 (last night) still nothing. Reception only open 8am-7pm.

Spacious apartment near major attractions

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location and spaciousness!
Cons: No A/C (or if there was, we didn't find it)
Location: All major attractions within 2 miles
We completely enjoyed our time at Hotel Dali in the spacious 2-room plus bath apartment. Loved having laundry facilities in the kitchen. No A/C, but the fans cooled the place nicely at night. Marco & others were friendly and helpful regarding local surroundings, especially when helping us find a restaurant which turned out to be our favorite in Italy - and at budget prices. Dali is just down the street from Il Duomo and less than a mile from Galleria della Accademia (where Michelangelo's David is). Great gelato in the neighborhood as well. I would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to others.
