Quiet little place, walking distance to everything

Great place if you need a place to just crash at the end of a long day. No common room or bar or anything like that, but perfect for me as I spent all day out and about and just spent the nights there. Sink in my own room, small breakfast included, fans and heaters available, quiet at night. Location is also great, about a block from the duomo, 15 minute walk from the main station.

Seriously, this hotel shouldn't be listed

Worst hotel experience in Italy. No air conditioning and broken windows. Room was not clean and I found dust and hairs everywhere. Stay away and look for others.

Lovely hotel, great location, fantastic staff

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. On arrival I was given great advice about where to visit, eat and get tickets. The room was very comfortable and the shared bathroom always kept clean. There was a fridge and tea/ coffee making facilities in the room

When we arrived, Marco was very friendly and helpful. He spoke English (our Italian is a bit rubbish) and gave us his recommendations for what to see and do around Florence drawing it all on a map he gave us. A very welcoming start. The room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed, what a great sleep we had) overlooking a courtyard with sun coming in through the windows. It was peaceful considering it was in the middle of Florence (a 5 minute walk to the Duomo). We'd recommend the Dali to anyone on a city break. When we were ready to leave, Marco offered to keep our cases in their reception with him letting us explore the city before we had to go.

I was visiting my daughter who was studying abroad and she found this hotel for me. From the first moment you walk in and meet the owner Marco everything in Florence, Italy is perfect. The location is perfect, hospitality wonderful, it's very clean and comfortable. I had a room with a sink in the room, but a shared bathroom and that was just fine too. Marco helps you out with printing tickets, sight seeing and anything you ask him. When I go back I will stay there again.

Better Than Described

Pros: Free parking, the location and of course Marco.
Cons: Nothing
Location: All the sights that you would want to see in Florence are within easy walking distance.
We picked the Dali because of the free parking but it was great overall. Marco met us outside and helped us park in the courtyard behind the building. Once inside we were given local sightseeing and restaurant information. The next 2 days we were given even more information. It was easy to stay there and see the sights of old Florence. It is old but good, like most of the rest of Italy. Our room was quiet because it faced the courtyard.

Reasonable Value, Avg B&B

Stayed one night in room with common bathroom at Dali. Service / Receptionist is very warm, welcoming and helpful. Dali is a very basic B&B - common bathroomwas tiny, approx 4 ft x 4 ft - sitting on WC your legs are under the sink. Those rooms with private bathroom are probably better. Breakfast was a prepacked croissant, two toast biscuits, jam, butter, cheese with Do It Yourself coffee with Nescafe, creamer and jug kettle. Hotel is 20 mins walk from Florence SMN train station, not an easy trip along cobbled path with luggage. Area is great, lots of shopping, sights and eateries.
