First! I booked at Hotel Eden and when we arrived to check in Thursday 5th they moved us to another hotel across the street with a very low rate accommodation, the name of hotel Kursaal & Ausonia, I’m very disappointed, and also the reason I booked at Hotel Eden was cause I traveled with my 78 years old mom and I’m always looking for accommodation with good confort, that was very unprofessional moved us to another hotel when we paid for the Eden , hope you guys do something about it. Respectfully, Verlaine .

The hotel is located in the center of everything and most important close to the bus stop in case you’re doing tours during your stay!

Great stay
Good location for both railway station and center of Firenze Small room but comfortable and with clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had everything I could ask for. Will return.

Attentive and Courteous Staff
Staff and service was first rate. They were always there to help and to answer questions. I asked if there was a coffee shop nearby. One of the staff members told me he could make one for me. It was good coffee. When I arrived before checkin they took my bag to a baggage room and showed me where the bathroom was and asked if I need anything. The room was very clean and quiet.

Expensive and bad bedding
The room was very primitive and bedding was horrible. There were lots of noise going on at night and we could not sleep well--we could hear people flushing their toilets at night, for example. Breakfast was also very disappoint. I chose the hotel because of its location and our room with two twin beds and one queen size bed. Florence overall is just expensive and over crowded.

The AC was not working. Room and bathroom tiny
Upon arrival the room AC was not working. We had to spent the entire night sleeping with no AC or fan in 40 degrees. The room was very tiny and so was the bathroom.

Eden is centrally located, around half a mile from the station and easy walk to many of the sights. The hotel is basic, but clean, reasonably priced and the staff were lovely - nothing too much trouble!

great hotel for the budget traveller
great location close to old florence and the SMN train station. friendly staff, hotel is easy to find, and located within walking distance to most of the main places of interest in Florence. the room is a little small, but very clean, and morning breakfast was good. a great value for the price. I stayed at other hotels in Florence and Eden is the best value.

Very disappointed
This Hotel had no air conditioning and no hot water. Walked for many hours in the heat and Humidity and really needed a shower only to find out there was no hot water. Room had two doors leading the back and one of them would not lock. So we didnt sleep well.

Pros - This hotel was in a good location. Very close to the train station. There was 3 of us in the room and we enough room to move around. Cons - The breakfast poor and the staff rationed the limited food choices. It made us feel very uncomfortable. The air conditioner was full of dust.

Exceeded expectations.
Hotel Eden exceeded my expectations. Contrary to the info on hotels.com, they had wifi in the room and they had coffee ready before 8 AM. They also had powerful airconditioning and they graciously extended my checkout until noon. :-)

OK stay but wouldn't return
The hotel was OK. The beds and pillows are so hard, it's difficult to sleep. The internet is terrible (barely fast enough to check email, most connections time out, forget voice chatting with people) and the staff tries acts like it's not the hotel's fault. The cleaning staff is pretty bad. They don't knock when they open the door, and they like to move all the clothes and all our things around for some reason. Overall, it was an OK stay, but certainly not a pleasure.

The hotel was in a good safe location. It was very close to the train station. We traveled around Italy by train so the hotel was conveniently located. Our room was clean, very roomy for our family of four and reasonably priced. It was not a five star hotel but we were not expecting that. The quality was consistent with the room price. The front desk staff was so helpful with recommendations for points of interest and suggestions for shopping. We were glad that this hotel that offered breakfast. The breakfast was a good selection of cereal, pastries, cheese and cold cuts along with juices and coffee.

Centrally located.great staff
This hotel is in a good location.close to the train station and most of the tourist spots are within walking distance from the hotel.we were greeted by fredrika when we checked in.she was very warm and helpful.she gave us directions and a map of where to go and she even printed the bus schedule.the room is a good size.bathroom is clean.would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel staff went out of their way to offer any information regarding Florence and surrounding areas. The Breakfast was much better than the regular continental breakfasts we had at other hotels in Italy. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, close to train station
Hotel Eden was our base for visiting Florence. While the hotel was comfortable and the location was convenient to the train station, I would not stay in this area of Florence unless you need to be near the train station. Around the train station is pretty chaotic, with lots of traffic and noise. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and WIFI is available in the lobby. They have a contract with a local parking lot for 24E a day.

Avoid the Hotel Eden if you have other options
First the good: Hotel Eden is fairly close to the train station, so if you are arriving or leaving by train & have bags it is easy to find & get to. OK, that's all there is good to say about it. The rooms are extremely basic, the hotel is drab, the breakfast is minimal (yes, I know it is Italy & breakfasts are often limited, but this was the most basic of all the Italian hotel breakfasts in a recent 3 week trip), the staff vary from pleasant-without-being-particularly-helpful to totally disinterested. Is it terrible? No. But there are plenty of much better, & sometimes cheaper, options in Florence.

Reliable hotel.
A sturdy, clean, reliable hotel. Super nice people. Very satisfied. This is not a modern glitter-n-chrome place, but a traditional, well-run hotel. Good location, close to the central market and railway station. A bit noisy street but there’s aircondition, so no need to open the windows. Will stay there again.
