“Great find for practical people”
At the time we stayed, some of the rooms were under renovation, which is a great thing in Italy, because many rooms in other hotels haven't been updated for centuries. This hotel is close to the train station, markets, and not too far from the Duomo, Accademia, and Medici Chapel. Like all Italian hotels, the phone is rarely answered, everything takes time, and the staff are not accustomed to the demanding nature of non-Italians. But you can't beat the location for the price, cable TV on a flat screen, and internet computer in the room. The lady was very nice, told us great places to eat, and offered laundry services for free. Great place for kids as the rooms were large.
