“Wonderful place to stay”

My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at the Executive Hotel. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff was always helpful and really friendly. The hotel was central to most of the places we visited. Would consider staying there again when we return to Florence.

“Great Service!”

The concierge's at this hotel were one of the best we experienced in Italy! So helpful and redirected us to some great restaurants. Our room was basic but not a bad size for a city hotel.

“not bad actually!”

Although the hotel looked lovely downstairs we found our room to be very small and quite dark, and the bed placed in such a way that we bashed our shins every time we wanted to go to the bathroom, but it was clean and tidy, the staff were excellent - very helpful and pleasant and offered good advice. The hotel was placed very near to the main sites and easy to find using the river as a reference point. Breakfast was excellent and included in the cost of the room booking. If you aren't staying long and don't intend on unpacking you'll need to steam the creases out of your clothes in the bathroom - irons aren't allowed in the room..

“Would stay here again!”

Although the room was rather small and old, it was very cleaned (cleaned every day infact), we had a large bathroom. Breakfasts were lovely if you dont like cooked breakfasts (this was rather poor).Otherwise there was nice warm croissants and breadbuns, fresh fruit, hams and cheese. The reception staff were very friendly and helpfull. We found we wanted to do a day trip after seeing alot of Florence, they were very willing to help -ringing bus/trip companies. And suggested places we could get the train to.

“Good price/value”

The hotel is nice, located 15 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio and 20 minutes from Florence center; nice bedrooms and bathrooms, clean and tidy. The service provided by the front desk is really good, they speak good Spanish and English. If you're noise sensitive don't go to this hotel during spring or fall, since they don't turn on the A/C or Heat and you sleep with the windows open and it's a noisy area.

“Not impressed”

Location of the hotel is great, very close to the main attractions. But I paid too much for a tiny room, breakfast was mediocre and the staff was not very helpful.

“Needs a facelift”

Has a pretty good location, but is tired. Very tired. The staff was WONDERFUL!!!! Attentive, responsive and very helpful.

“Not very impressed”

If you are going for one or two nights and plan on hardly ever being in your room, then this hotel is okay. The location is great - it's just a short walk to the train station. However, the rooms are small and not very well maintained. But if you're planning on a short stay (one or two nights), this hotel may be okay at the right price. However, it you plan to stay for a longer length of time, you may want to consider a different hotel.

“rooms very rundown”

The lobby area was nice but when I got to my room I was very disappointed. The furniture and floor was very old, broken down and dirty. In fact, my husband was afraid that there were bedbugs in the room and pulled the bed apart looking for them. I am use to staying in clean nice room and this was not. I had believed the review of this hotel and therefore booked it. I would never stay there again. The worst hotel in our 3 week trip through Italy.
