“My Observations”

The beds were extremely comfortable and it was a very quiet hotel. I am a light sleeper so this was very pleasing. I was not really impressed by the outside of the hotel, it looks like it needs some work. I expected better from a Marriott based hotel chain. Also, I do wish the breakfast had a little more variety of choices. I did like the boiled eggs but maybe bacon would have made it more enjoyable, however, I will stay here again in June.

“We will be back!”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, we were a little cramped though, because we have a large family (4 children). I recommend reserving an executive room if you are traveling with more than 3 or 4 people. Breakfast was very nice. We will be back!!!!!

“Below expectations”

This hotel is what you would expect from a lower class chain not a "Marriott". The rooms were small and musty, the ice machine didn't work, we had to ask for more towels for the room and the outdoor swimming pool needed a good cleaning. Most times you can overlook small details if the hotel staff were accomodating but customer service was not a high priority with the staff either.

“not impressed”

1)rooms too small 2)web connection problems (unable to connect) 3)bed mattress too hard; need to be upgraded to conform with other Fairfield Inns

“It didn't seem that I was staying at a Marriott”

We try as much as we can to stay with the Marriott hotels when we travel, which is once a month or so. This time it was Thanksgiving and we went to visit family in South Carolina. The front desk lady was very short and rude. Then I called the front desk and asked for a crib and she said "If you need a crib you have to come and get it because I am by myself and I don't have anyone to take it to you." It seems this hotel is run by one person!!!I will not be staying there again because when I pay the amount we paid for a hotel we expect the hotel to deliver....

“Not as described”

I booked it as a halfway to Florida overnight because of price and an advertised pillow top mattress (king)- wasn't a pillow top ( of course, it was not guaranteed.) I peeked in other ground floor, unoccupied outside room windows, there were no pillow tops in sight.) Then the room had a distinct musty odor- had to be from the bathroom exhaust fan being broken so when you showered it filled the whole room with steam. Not a big deal once I figured it out. I touched the privacy lock guard on the outside of the door by accident ( our's was the only room with the metal guard) and sliced my finger, receiving a splinter ( metal or paint?) in the process- not pleasant. I would've asked for another room but I was sooooo tired, I just wanted to shower and sleep. No shower cap, so I washed my hair anyway. The musty smell was gone with the a/c flowing and the bed was comfortable enough. They did have free wireless internet and a nice complimentary breakfast ready at 6 a.m. The staff was very pleasant and I am sure they would've helped us out with a shower cap and seemed concerned about my finger... Also, the pool was inviting. I am sure the fan will be repaired and as long as you don't want alot of space in your king- bed hotel room- it's fine and serves the purpose.

“Ok for a quick stop over.”

We stayed here on our trip back from Disney. It is a fair hotel, nothing special. It was very clean, but since it is an outside entry room it had a smell that just comes with those types of rooms. The location was good. Right off of I-95 and it had a Target, mall and restaurants nearby. We only stayed one night so we did not use the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. We did get a call from management asking if everything was ok with our room, which I thought was nice. Overall, it is a decent hotel for a quick stop over if you travel on I-95.
