Contemporary hotel in a great location.Posted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: It is small, personal and stylish. The concept is one of comfort and affordability paired with contemporary flair.
Location: The location can not be better. It is one block from the Ponte Vecchio, and two blocks from the Piazza de la Signoria, Pallazzo Vecchio and Uffizzi.
Very good hotel, incredibly well located, next to Ponte Vecchio. Comfortable rooms, nice design and details inside the room and in the lobby. Good breakfast and fantastic asian restaurant. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had a very good stay.

Enjoyed our stay. The Gallery room was compact but comfortable and well equipped. The reception, restaurant & concierge staff were friendly.

Good price for great location in amazing Florence.Posted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Location, decoration, cozy room with nice light, plus 10% discount to Ferragamo store is a nice extra.
Cons: It would be nice to control the AC in your own room. You have to call every time you want the AC on or off as they control this from the reception.
Location: Walk everywhere & experience an outdoor museum, streets, piazzas, churches, views. visit Uffizi, Galeria dell'Accademia, take Chianti tour. EAT a lot!
My husband and I lived in Florence and hadn't been back in 10 years. The hotel Is in perfect location in the heart of Florence. You can walk everywhere easily (florence is small anyways). Staff is very nice and helpful. Room was nice and had a small balcony, bathroom was small but this is expected for Italy. The hotel and rooms are nicely decorated. It is also nice you can use the gym at the lugarno suites also owned by Ferragamo. We decided not have the breakfast since it is nice to get something small and quick from a forno or a caffe. Roof top at hotel Continentale is great for aperitivo or drink before dinner. We will definitely come back soon!!

Everything was perfect at this hotel....Posted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is part of the Ferragamo group (Lungarno collection), and it didn't disappoint. Room was spacious with excellent touches. The location next to Ponte Vecchio was outstanding. The staff was both knowledgeable and helpful in booking reservations for both the museum and restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great locationPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: The roof top bar at the sister hotel 'Continental' across the street is fabulous. Pricey but delicious cocktails and superb views of the city.
Cons: The lifts are tiny with no mirrors to give a sense of space so can be an issue if you don't like confined spaces!
Location: This hotel was a superb location for exploring the city. Every tour and attraction that we visited was a maximum of a ten minute walk from the hotel.
We visited Florence for a four night stay as part of a tour around Tuscany. We had a hire car, which was essential for our tour but inconvenient/expensive for parking in Florence! We followed advice on one of the Tripadvisor forums though which said 'A good suggestion that is easy to find is the large “Coop” supermarket parking of Viale Nenni. The tram stop is called Nenni-Torregalli and it is a short ride (10-15 minutes) straight to Florence from here.' Parking was free here and the tram ride was €1.20 per person, each way. There was a walk then from the tram stop/train station to the hotel. The room that we stayed in had a small balcony. It was a relatively small room but was adequate for a four night stay. The bed was very comfortable, there was enough storage for our stay and there was a decent shower over the bath. As with a lot of the people in Florence, the staff were helpful but not what us Brits would call warm! The hotel felt a little impersonal compared to others that I have visited in Italy. The hotel is in a great location. It is slightly out of the tourist hustle and bustle but only a minutes walk to some of the main streets so it feels quiet but everything that you would want or need is easily walkable.

Great location and nice hotelPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and the location was perfect for exploring Florence. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was overall very nice and what I had hoped for at the price point, with the added bonus of free wi-fi, which is often lacking from more expensive hotels. The cocktails in the bar were fairly pricey €13ish, but were some of the best we have had, ours also came with aperitivo of sushi, which helped to ease the pain of the bill.

Great location, not worth the price in Summer!Posted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, comfortable bed!
Cons: General shabby appointments. Rugs and wall stains.
I have stayed at this hotel many times, the staff is excellent. Location is perfect. My only issue was the shabby surroundings. The bathroom had stains on the wall, the carpet frayed. The Library carpet had stains. It is such a shame such an expensive and nice hotel does not update and clean properly.
