Excellent Hotel in the middle of the action

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: The staff, the staff, the location, the rooms.
Cons: For where it is located it is the best possible choice.
Location: You can visit the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Academia museum down the street (The David), Pritti Palace (15-20 minute walk),and almost any major attraction
For the location this hotel cannot be beat. The staff are outstanding and bend over backwards to make sure you are having an excellent time. It is a very friendly atmosphere. The location is close to everything that is worth seeing in Florence. The hotel is a renovated property and is very tastefully done. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location to centre was within easy walking distance. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

New boutique hotel

Posted Mar 12, 2015
This hotel has the potential to be a great comfortable centrally positioned base for a short break. Sadly it is still suffering early teething problens. No spa, being woken up at 2am with water dripping on my face from a leaky roof. Jacuzzi didn't work. Having said all that the staff were charming, and the decor is stylish.

Sublimez deux pas du duomo

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Sans chichi, accueil et service parfaits... A la maison a deux pas de tous les musées Dg Florence. Une adresse à se garder égoïstement sans la communiquer à tout le monde ...

Good location but overall BAD

Please choose something else, if you are not only interested in location The breakfast is bad, the rooms are cooled and the staff is inconsistent in their information. But it has great location.

Central but not too much. Clean and Comfortable. Helpful.

The hotel is really close to the pjazza del duomo but at the same time it's not on the main street where you have a million people walking past your bedroom all the time so at night it's quiet. It is also quite accessible if you are driving around and they have an arrangement with a garage off the centre who will park your car at night and bring it back whenever you need it. Considering the centrality of the location and the quality of the hotel the price was quite reasonable. It's a boutique hotel so do not expect massive lobbies and bars, but afterall it's in firenze... so you can walk just about anywhere in minutes for great wine, coffee and food. If you're going to florence, this hotel is worth staying at.
