Avoid at all costs! The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The free breakfast was terrible. Our room was above the lobby and you can hear every single noise echo into the room. Location is great but for the price you might as well stay in a hostel.

Minor issues: The electrical outlets in the room were problematic. Shower had a long delay when adjusting temperature Free breakfast was great, staff friendly, room and common areas clean and attractive, and walkable to Florence areas of interest. Would stay there again!

Outstanding staff. Comfortable and well appointed rooms. The location of the hotel is in a welcomed quiet area yet just a short walk to everything one comes to see in Florence. We highly recommend making this hotel your base camp while visiting Florence.

They gave us a not cleaned room, they didn’t clean some trash that the other guests left over there. They didn’t put new towels and they left towels in the bathroom on the floor.

We unfortunately did not have a good experience at this property and were quite disappointed and felt it was very overpriced. The room was quite small with scratches on the walls but the bathrooms were clean. It was extremely noisy to the point we slept poorly. We could literally here the iPhone alarm in the morning of the unit next door to us. The maids also start much earlier than other hotels like 7-8:30 am so the first day we did not put on do not disturb it was an issue. In addition one day we had a problem where our door would not lock and we have a booked tour and were rushing to get the concierge to help us lock the room so our belongings were safe. They did it but this is should really not happen in the first place. The breakfast was very average. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I have stayed in many hotels.

The location is a little distant from the main centre but it’s only a ten minute walk to the centre of town via the riverside footpath. About 2.5km from the railway station. Hotel itself is very clean and comfortable with great buffet breakfast. Excellent room.

The hotel staff is awesome. They were very accommodating when I showed up early and provided me with a room upgrade. The hotels is in a great area. It is a bit dated but very clean. The common areas are well appointed and breakfast is good. Very close to historic sites and easy walk to many restaurants and sites.

A very convenient location. Can travel to all four cirners of Florence from this location. Beautiful view on the Lungarno. Music, street food by the river bank. Very comfortable rooms and bed linens. Quiet! Even with many guests. Reception desk watm and welcoming. Speak English! Restaurant excellent. Separate Italian and "American food " restaurant with glass enclosed patio and open- air patio for smokers.

Hotel’s lobby was nice but room had small window and nothing special. Bathroom around the bathtub was mouldy. Air conditioner was very noisy, barely could sleep. And for breakfast you dont have hot breakfast option like omelette Or mushroom, potatoes.

Most uncomfortable bed. No room service, shower leaked everywhere so bathroom was a pool when done. Air con didn’t work so was either freezing or boiling. Staff useless and didn’t care. DO NOT stay there.

The staff were friendly and helpful however there were couple of issue that we had during our stay We were travelling with our 7 month old daughter in April when the temperature during the day were as high as 21-22 degrees. Apparently the Air conditioning at the hotel only switches on after May and there declined ti switch it on for us. We couldnt sleep in the night due to the heat in the room and when we let the windows open, mosquitoes came into the room and we all had insect bites all over us.all our 3 nights at the hotel was disappointing. - we went out after 1st night. When we came back in evening from sight seeing, we noticed our door was left open after the room service , when i went down to let them know of the issue , they said our door is not working and they were not aware that the door was left open after maintenance opened it. We had to move our luggage at 9 in the evening and luckily nothing was taken from our room when the door was left open by accident. - breakfast- it would be nice to have something hot vegetarian option. There were loads of sweet amazing option but nothing savoury veg options. We did find the staff really helpful and friendly but i guess management and managers need to really think about the air conditioning options for the paying guests to make.

One of our rooms was very dirty. Stains on walls, sheets were very dirty and bathroom drains were clogged and drained so slow as to be almost unusable. Complained at front desk and found staff to be rude and couldn't care less about issues! I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, Front desk staff don't seem to care.
I was a bit disappointed in FH55. We stayed here in 2019 which is why I pick this hotel again. The service at the front desk really seemed to not care much whether we were there or not. After we lugged our 5 suitcases up their mini-ramp on the front stairs and fought them through the revolving door we were asked if we would like help with getting our luggage to our room. Uh, no, after that aerobic exercise I'm not going to quit and let you take it on a cart. Other things like asking to have a 20 euro broken to 5's, no, we don't have change. And being charged 15 euro to store our luggage from 8am until noon when we would be catching our flight really seemed to be sub-par service in my opinion.

Excellent hotel - amenities not found in most hotels in Italy like a kettle. Comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning, clean, great breakfast and a 25 minute stroll to all the tourist sites!
