“Great Deal!”

This hotel is an easy walk to all of Florence's sights. The hotel staff are absolutely great, helping you with suggestions on shopping and where to eat. Sara really made me feel welcome. The hotel has a small and intimate feeling. The breakfast is decent and I always felt like I had a variety of things to chose from. I was a woman alone for part of my stay here, and I felt safe. I almost hate to say how much I loved the place, in case I can't get a room here next time I want to visit!

This is a wonderful location along with being a clean, comfortable hotel. Everything is within walking distance (museums, duomo, great restaurants, etc.) The owners of the hotel are most helpful and so very kind and gracious. Nice breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit.

Hotel Albion generally lives up to the good reviews listed on Florence hotel websites. There are several local establishments that provide good service to locals and visitors. Decently located, though on the periphery of the central city, one can walk or stroll to Ponte Veccio within ten or twenty minuties. The managment is very responsive to any reasonable need, and has a long-time resident's deep knowledge of the area and its attractions. Rooms in the main building live up to their web photos, but the 2-3 in an adjacent structure are not so attractive, though they function acceptably. One suggestion: beware the step down from the lavatory. Ask management to provide a non-slip rug at the lower main-room level.
