“Great Location, wonderful staff”

Our first visit to Florence started on the right foot when we checked into the Hotel Aprile. The room was great, breakfast was a treat and the front desk did everything from making restaurant and museum reservations to suggestions for tours. My wife loved the heated towel racks and the "coffee art" in her cappachino. The winter visit meant that any street noise was nonexistant and the added convenience to the train station was key. Our Son is studying abroad for a semester and we had five leasurely days to visit him and have him show us around this beautiful city. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely small classical hotel in the town centre. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Super room arranged exactly as I requested, comfortable and clean. Car collected and delivered to and from parking. Generous breakfast. One or two small maintenance things needed doing, and some confusion over an early breakfast on the day of our departure but nothing to spoil our enjoyment. We will definately return.

“Nice Budget Hotel”

Hotel was much nicer than expected, and is in a great location. Minutes from the central train station. Provided you are not expecting US customer service and a US breakfast, both were above average by European standards. A superior value.

“Palazzo dal Borgo”

Overall, the hotel was nice. It was in a good location and the room was clean. My room had a fresco on the ceiling and a view of the Santa Maria church from my window... nice. The hotel reception could have been nicer. They were having problems with internet service that prohibited me from making my next hotel reservation in Rome. Despite these minor problems, I would stay there again.

“charming small hotel”

Lovely, elegant, slightly shabby, small hotel very near the train station. Staff were extremly helpful. Hotel has the feel of a pensione. It is a bit out of the way but since this was my second visit to Florence I knew the restaurants to go to- all within walking distance of the hotel. Very charming common areas. My one complaint is that the wifi does not really work in the rooms, and only rarely in the bar area and I ended up using their rather expensive computer tucked into the hallway. That having been said, I will definately stay here again. This hotel is a real find.

Hotel located in the old noble building is totaly renoved with elegant and regular size rooms. Good deal for us.

“Wonderful moderate hotel”

We arrived on a train, hotel was convenient to train station, nice plaza nearby, easy walk to most sights in Florence. Front desk staff were helpful, we made reservations prior to our arrival for the Accademia and Uffizi Gallery. This was helpful. Very nice hotel, well priced, we would stay there again. Next time we would ask for a room away from the front street, however it quiets down at night so it wasn't a problem.

“Great location in Florence within easy walk from train station”

This hotel was a quick walk from the train station and could accommodate our family of four in one room. They served a nice breakfast. Was also an easy walk to the Duomo with lots of nearby restaurants.
