“Great hotel, great location”

Very nice hotel, close to everything. Even has parking close by or valet from the hotel, which is rare in Florence. Beautiful decor, good sized rooms.

“Can't wait to come back with the whole family”

My husband and I went to this hotel on our honeymoon in Tuscany. Loved the stay there. The hotel was easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious pool area and plenty of sun-beds reserved for hotel guests at the beach. Buses, stopping right in front of the hotel, run to and from Pisa frequently.

“very easy to find, very comfortable”

a very nice, clean hotel that's very close to the train station and has amazing views from the room - I could see the Duomo from my bed. nothing in Florence is really all that far from anything else and this hotel was very convenient to the main attractions (Duomo, Galleria Accademia, Uffizzi, etc.).

The staff was extremely helpful. The location is great. It was a big enough room for europe. I had a great experience. Walking distance from many sites.

“old hotel, nice people, nice location”

I stayed there for two nights. It is near the main train station of Florence (Florence SMN) and not hard to find. From there I went to all museums and churches I'd like to go on foot, including Duomo, Uffizi, Gallery Accademia, etc (the central part of Florence is small anyway...). Staffs are nice and the guy who sent me to my room explained carefully how everything works in my room --- not every hotel does this. My reservation includes breakfast and the food was good. Seems it is an old hotel, because the furniture in my room is very old, but everything is clean. As a four-star hotel, the price is attractive to me. Wireless is 10 EUR for 24 hours, which is OK for me. I would definitely recommend it to others.

“Great room and excellent service”

We were very impressed with the luxurious and calm atmosphere when we entered the hotel from the reasonably busy street. The staff were highly attentive and offered us a map on which they highlighted our location and the key sights. Our room was large, clean and nicely finished. The shower was also one of the best I have used. To top this off when I opened the window we were greeted with a lovely view looking directly onto the Duomo!

“Best of my European Tour”

I was traveling through three countries and 6 cities in the mediteranian, so I stayed in a lot of hotels. This was one of the most comfortable and aesthetically pleasing ones. I was a fan of the decor. Beds were a bit uncomfortable, but I found that to be true all over Europe, so I don't mark off for it. The breakfast was good, they were helpful when I had questions and the staff was very friendly. What more do you need?

“Good Location -- close to Train Station”

Based on the price and the location; this hotel was a good value and all we needed. It is a typical European style hotel; so some Americans could be disappointed (rooms are small and not well-lighted and the elevator works but is not fantastic). Location is easy walking distance if you are arriving by train; then it is easy to walk to all of the central area attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Very good stay”

The hotel is very well located, in the middle of everything. The room with the antique decor was nice and clean, the bathroom (especially the shower) very small, but at the end, we can't complain. Breakfast is very good!

The hotel was very central easy walk from train station (almost accross street) but not at all noisy. perfectly located to walk the city and pop in to rest. beautiful clean rooms and great breakfst. the staff were super helpful and friendly
