“Beautiful hotel and scenery”

I booked this hotel for my parents and their granddaughters. They spent three nights in April and it was the highlight of their trip. It was perfectly located for visiting the Tuscany region and taking day trips to Siena, Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, etc. The views were magnificent and the grounds and the buildings were well maintained, impeccable and beautiful. The staff was genuinely helpful; they took an extra step to accommodate them in any way possible. The room was spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. The food was excellent too, breakfast and dinner. They would go back there in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone who is traveling there.

“Perfect!”

We booked this hotel last minute, as a stop gap during a three week stay in Italy. It was an absolute gem, hotel and grounds are beautiful, staff were incredibly helpful, the facilities were excellent, an amazing pool that was big enough to feel anonymous in and stunning Tuscan views. The restaraunt was fantastic, you need to try the fish tasting menu, it is among the best meals either of us have ever had. Our original stay was only for three nights, but we were back very quickly as the second hotel we had booked was appauling, especially given it was twice the price. Our family joined us for one night here, and everyone is still talking about this place a month on. Plans are quickly developing to return next year. It is not the most luxurious hotel, but it is perfectly designed, has simple but nicely decorated and very clean rooms with amazing facilities and views, wonderful staff and very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

“Could've stayed forever!”

This hotel is wonderfully authentic, beautiful, well maintained, clean and of excellent value for money. In addition, it's located in an exceptionally beautiful & peaceful part of the country, with stunning views and impressively spacious and private accommodations. Both the quality and variety of food that's on offer, is remarkable, however it's the staff that really make it special. They are 'exceptional' - service is extremely fast, friendly and 'personal', with nothing proving to be too much trouble - I would highly recommend this hotel and fully intend to return, as often as possible, and for a more substantial stay.

“The best in Italy”

Our experience at the Hotel Borgo di cortefedia relais was a wonderful experience. I never dreamed it would be so beautiful and very accommodating. The only negative thing is that the king size bed was a little hard for me. But once you get past that that you got it made. I will return to Italy and will stay in the same hotel.

The hotel was fantastic, staff were friendly and very helpful. Be mindful of the tourist tax that Italy have introduced. This added approx £50 to the bill at the end of the week.

“Oasis of calm”

Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. We only ate breakfast and it was perfectly adequate. Catering staff v friendly and helpful but concierges might have been a bit more helpful and perhaps could have smiled a bit more!! Access to internet was v expensive, 5 euro/half hour and it was down when I needed it. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a base from which to visit Florence and/or Sienna.
