“Would definitely recommend and go back”
My room was located on the 2nd floor of the Hotel. It overlooked the Arno River and included a big patio with a table and two chairs. Great view of the Arno and surrounding hills, very relaxing atmosphere. Warm and sunny room but could also be blackened at night on the day that I wanted to sleep in. Good breakfast. Breakfast room was stunning. Actually took pictures of the room to show off. Paintings on celing and overlooking Arno. Staff treated me like long lost family. Hotel was a short walk from downtown but also near, (about 1/2 mile away), Cascine Park which is the largest park of the city of Florence. Great place to run, bike or walk. Extensive (2 miles + in one direction) dirt trails, right alongside the Arno river and in groves of trees. There is also a kids fair / carnival located on the end of the Park closest to the hotel and horse facilities.
“It's OK, but I would not stay there again”
Would be nice if this hotel will be a bit closer to main attractions. Breakfast should be improved as well. Services are basic and could be improved - no soap, etc.

We so enjoyed our two days at the hotel Consigli. The staff were helpful and patient ...even Paco the dog! The breakfast room was especially lovely and had great views of the Arno river.
“Lovely, quiet, elegant and comfortable”
So pleased that we chose this location overlooking the Arno. Close to all attractions and public transportation, yet away from the noise and crowds. Walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Florence. The hotel is elegant and the staff is helpful. Breakfast was good, but the real star is the view from the breakfast room and the original frescoed ceiling. The new owners are delightful. Special thanks to "Michel" for his kindness and courteous service. Parking available in rear courtyard. Large newly-renovated bathroom.
