Fabulous locationPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The size of the rooms, the location
Cons: The wireless does not automatically reconnect when you return to the hotel.
Great, reasonably priced hotel close to everything. Good sized rooms and bathroom.

Good LocationPosted Oct 6, 2013
Cons: Fresh coffee and fruit juice at breakfast. A better bathroom, my partner could not put her feet on the floor when sat on the toilet !!!!!!
Location: Location is fantastic. Everything is there within walking distance.
The staff are all helpful. The location is excellent. Rooms are old fashioned, but are in character and rather quaint. Breakfast is a buffet breakfast, the food is OK. The coffee comes out of a machine and tastes awful, Italian coffee should be good. Dont have a fruit juice out of the fruit juice machine, it is sugar and water, not fruit juice. Having said this, we would stay here again.

The hotel is in a GREAT location just steps from the Duomo. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. The free breakfast was great!

Good location but poor desk staffPosted Oct 4, 2013
Came a little early so left bags in lobby until room would be available. Came back after a walk around asked if room was ready (hour after normal ckeck in time) they said it would be soon. Then there was a change in staff (4 on desk for about 12 rooms) and we sat around for nearly an hour without any staff interaction about our room. Eventually had to ask again if it was ready, then after some discussion it seemed it had been for some time. Too many staff with no-one really interested in looking after the guests! Room ok but dusty carpet and bathroom lacked an exhaust fan. Saving grace was its close proximity to Duoma.

Location: Museums and shopping
It is located at the center of the city and easy access to museums. I will stay there if I go to Florence again.

Run away!Posted Sep 23, 2013
Bad hotel. Old and falling apart. Had to pay for wifi and it didn't work most the time. Nasty breakfast. Mattress from 1970. Worst part: for "security" reasons they require you to leave your key at the front desk. I walked up that night at midnight said a room number and they just handed me a key without checking ID or asking for my name. I never left them my key for the remaining part of my stay.

Right under the duomoPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Closeness o everything, just hang out the window and watch the world pass if you have a room in the front.
Cons: Updating it would spoil it so I wouldn't suggest that.maybe a larger shower.
Location: Central, easy walk to bridge, just chill and enjoy the atmosphere.
Good value hotel, centrally located in Florence old area. We had a Brief walk from main railway station heading to the duomo, it is just in a little side street off it. No reception on g/ f ,have to take small lift or walk to 1 st floor. Room was small but everything we needed was there, nicely furnished and breakfast was continental but plenty of it.

Great Hotel in a brilliant locationPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel had a great feel to it and the room we were in had great views of the Duomo (rm 203 - Twin) Room was big with high ceilings and due to the location was a bit noisy at night (easily solved though by closing the window). Staff were friendly and helpful even when I got locked out of the room 2 nights running. Its in an excellent loactaion right in the heart of old town and all sights are easily accesible within in 10 - 15 minutes walk.
