In a word PERFECTPosted Jun 28, 2015
Location, character, breakfast, staff could not have been better. I did a mother/ daughter vacation so we decided to splurge, it was worth every euro (penny). I have only wonderful things to say about the hotel and staff. The t-shirts on our pillows were a nice touch. The only thing I can say is I'm use to a tempurpedic bed so the mattress was a tad hard for me. But I was so tired at night I barely noticed. Please know that this hotel will NOT disappoint.

Wonderful stay at the Degli Orafi hotel!!!Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Most of all the incredible view of Ponte Vecchio and the location where it is but also the cleanliness and fine details, make this a fantastic hotel.
Cons: The Breakfast buffet could include a little more variety in vegetables and proteins.
Location: Location was unbeatable!!!! Right beside the Ponte Vecchio on one side and very close by Palazzo Vecchio on the other!
We just spent 2 days at Florence but had a fantastic stay at this hotel and we got lucky enough to have the most fantastic view of Ponte Vecchio!!! The hotel is so nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and the Amenities at the hotel are first class. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay here again if we happen to be in Florence again!!!! It has the perfect location!!!!!

Pros: Friendly and close to everything.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard
Location: Next to river Arno and Uffizi Gallery. Close to shops and restaurants
We stayed in Florence for 3 nights at this lovely hotel. from the moment we checked the staff wer very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely, the beds were a bit hard though. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection. The hotel was situated in an ideal location, next to the river Arno and just around the corner from the Uffizi Gallery. All other attractions were within walking distance. loved Florence and this hotel and would definately go back.

Location: Walk around the corner and find the Duomo. Walk in front of the hotel and see the Arno.
Overlooking the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno, With a view of the Duomo from the rooftop bar, what more could you want from a vacation in Florence? A great breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and luxurious bed and bath accomadations.

Excellent in every way.Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Location, most of staff, accommodations, buffet breakfast.
Cons: A couple of the front desk staff could have been friendlier.
Location: Uffizi gallery next door, Ponti Vecchio and old Town Hall a block away, Variety of restaurant within 4 block radius.
Perhaps because we were staying 5 nights, we were upgraded to a lovely, quiet suite, with comfortable king bed and modern bathroom with full amenities. Staff, especially Sylvia, was very helpful with advice on restaurants and directions. A special commendation to the bellman, who called the taxi we arrived in from the airport to retrieve my husband's mediations that he had left in the taxi. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous, served in a beautiful frescoed room of the former palace. The location is ideal, next to the Uffizi, within easy walking distance to all the major attractions, shopping, restaurants and Ponti Vecchio (great for watching sun sets). We look forward to the time we return to Florence and the Hotel degli Orafi.

Exceptional HotelPosted May 25, 2015
Pros: What was not to like?...From the front desk to the lounge on top floor (with a magnificent view of the Duomo, just a great inviting hotel.
Cons: nothing, as far as we are concerned, could be improved.....just continue as is.
Location: The perfect location in Florence. On the Arno River, strolling distance to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo, and numerous other sights in the city.
This was our second visit within 18 months to this wonderful hotel. We requested the same room that we were in for the first visit, and of course, we got the same room. Everything was top-notch, with a relaxed and friendly environment. This was truly the "room with a view" experience, and this has become our favorite hotel worldwide...........Bravo.
