“"Great location and price"”

Went in November, great location near train station - we walked to nearly all major sights in Florence. We had the 4 person "apartment" style room - nice small kitchen area. Was perfect for us (1 adult, 3 teens). Service not outstanding, desk clerk not terribly helpful, but all in all a very good experience for us, especially for the price!

“Basic Tourist Hotel in Great Location”

This should meet your needs if you need to be close to Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station and you are on a budget. Rooms are small but clean, comfortable bed, tiny bathroom. Reception staff were helpful and breakfast adequate. In- room Wi-Fi was a nice amenity.

“Disappointing”

Write-up indicated room with balcony, but we had none. Breakfast was disappointing. Otherwise, great location and clean interior.

“Very satisfied”

Verycomfortable, clean, friendly. Very convenient. No complaints. Location is safe. Easy walking to all sites in Florence. Proximetry to trains, buses make day trips out of town a breeze.

“Not impressed but next to train station”

The hotel is just next to Santa Maria Novella train station which is great if you're after proximity to the train terminal but the area is noisy even at night. We could also hear voices from the guest room next to ours which is possibly due to how the wall partitions are constructed. Continental breakfast is plentiful and of good variety.

Area recommendations

The Accademia and Ufizzi galleries are great venues for art and history lovers.

“Very convenient location for tourists”

The hotel was very conveniently located near the train station. Amenities were simple but well maintained - the room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good - would like to suggest the addition of fruit. WE enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations

Florence is a lovely city - all the piazzas, churches and museuma are worth a visist. The wlak to the top of the tower provides an entracing view of teh city. Truly an inspring place for artisis and those who enjoy great architecture, beauty and speldour. Very approachable city

“Good value”

We stayed in one of the "apartment" rooms. It was nice to have ability to cook a little. The noise from the street was a bit distracting but we were so tired from our busy days sightseeing that it did not keep us from sleeping. The staff was helpful and spoke English well. There are two small groceries near by with a decent selection of foods.

“Excellent hotel that is ideally located at a good price”

The hotel is located about 10 min walking distance to the Florence tourist spots. This a self service apartment. We were pleasantly surprised that the room had a full kitchen. The room was good sized to accommodate two adults and two teenagers. Internet access was free. The lounge has computers that can be used to access the internet. The lounge and the bar area is well maintained and comfortable. Front desk staff were very helpful. We were going to check out and check back in after a 2 day drive through Tuscany. They kept our luggage for the 2 days. There is a supermarket 2 min walking distance from the hotel. It will take about 10 minutes to walk to Avis, Hertz, and Dollar car rental offices. All 3 major car rental companies are next to each other. If you want to drop the car in the evening after the office is closed, right next to Avis there is a public parking garage. You just to turn in the keys and Avis will charge 20 Euros for parking overnight.
