Stay at Hotel DuilioPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room did not have AC and the nights were rather warm so sleeping was slightly uncomfortable.

Just the bare minimum for a great pricePosted Jun 12, 2013
Location: 20 minute walk to the city centre
I had booked a room with a double bed and shared bathroom. That specific room was not available (couldn't quite understand the staff person when he explained the reason) so I was moved to a room that 'had not yet been white washed'. The poster board with the Disney channel collage and the dresser decorated with stickers indicated that the room had recently belonged to a child and had not yet been redone in decor appropriate for hotel guests. That being said, the room was clean and so I had no problem with the situation, even if it wasn't what I had expected. I was also given this room at a lower price - I did not have to request this, it was suggested by the hotel staff member upon check-in. The bathroom was clean, and it turned out there was a shower in the room which was nice. Breakfast was coffee/tea, biscuits and a chocolate filled croissant that wasn't great

staying in FlorencePosted Sep 13, 2012
Vincenzo is wonderful host .The couldn't have been more helpful in making suggestions and answering any questions. Our house room had character and was comfortable. A shared bathroom wad no problem. Also the hotel is in a good location. Overall a great stay.

A fantastic hotel in a fantastic locationPosted Jun 27, 2011
We stayed at the Duilio for 3 days during a very hot June, and the proximity to the centre was fantastic - we could walk around during the morning and retire from the sun during the afternoon Vincenzo (the owner) was fantastic and recommended great places for us to eat and to see, and although the proximity of the American Consulate meant parking was a bit of a pain, everything else was simply fantastic, and we would happily return and stay there again

Small hotel on the third floor of a building (no elevator). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the street was well lit. It was clean. seem to be a good place for the price.
