“Not the best option”
The best thing about Guitto is it is located close to the main attractions. And that's the only thing that's good about it. As soon as you enter the building, you are greeted with dense stink which is indicative of the place. The hotel owner speaks not even a single line of English. The rooms are neat the first day and very minimal cleaning is done subsequently. We did a round of dusting every night after we returned to the hotel. The bathroom is neat but the soaps and shampoo are not changed until you use them 100%! Guitto seems to like minimality and hence the breakfast is also rather minimal. No fruits, so sausages, no eggs, no croissants, no cakes, and some times no bread! The coffee vending machine gives awful tasting cappuccino. If you take coffee more than once, Guitto's eyes will admonish you. And Guitto won't serve you breakfast before 8:00 a.m. and after 9:30 a.m. The air conditioning is switched off and can't be switched on. There is no free wifi. You need to pay 10 Euros for 24 hours of WiFi or use Guitto's desktop from 30 minutes and give him 3 Euros. If you happen to return to the hotel after 11:00 p.m., Guitto charges you 3 Euros for opening the door. We wanted to extend our stay by a night, but Guitto wouldn't give us Expedia rates. Finally, we found a better accommodation in a nearby hotel (that had free WiFi, air conditioning, English speaking staff) for 10 Euros less than what Guitto was demanding from us. There are several better hotels in the same area.
