relatively nice hotel, could be better!Posted Oct 20, 2013
Cons: no WiFi at all in our room! heating system in fall!
I can imagine a lovely stay at this hotel during the summer or late spring, but it is not as pleasing in fall or winter. Hotel location is a little far from the city center but you can enjoy a 30 min walk along the river from the hotel. There is also a bus stop 2min away if you don't want to walk.

Excellent and quiet hotel near the riverPosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: The fact that it was mostly used by individuals like me rather than big bus groups. It is located in a residential area and is quiet.
Location: The location is a bit away from the centre and it requires one to either walk or take the bus no.14 (stop a few steps in front of the hotel for € 1.20
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I found it to be efficient, clean and a nice walk (20 min) along the river to the centre of Florence. The staff were very helpful and efficient andthe included breakfast was good for the price of the Hotel.

Nice HotelPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: We liked the balcony to our room and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom.
Cons: Perhaps room service and a breakfast would be convenient if added to this hotel would be good.
Location: It's a bit of a walk to get to restaurants and commercial area from this hotel, but it was alright for us because we only needed it for one night.
We liked this hotel because it is located in a residential neighborhood where we got to feel that we are in Italy. We were able to take the bus and get off a short walk away from this hotel. The room is very clean, in fact it was obviously disinfected with Clorox, but we didn't mind it, the bathroom was definitely clean and disinfected. We just opened the door to the balcony and soon it was aired out. The balcony was very nice and has a nice view. We liked this hotel because it gives a taste of Italy, not the average generic hotel. this hotel has a concierge service that helped with the bag and showed us our room. There is no room service nor a restaurant at this hotel, just a bar, but we were able to get some tea brought to our room. A restaurant, a bank and a pharmacy are not too far from this hotel. All in all, it was a pleasant experience to stay in this hotel.

Four star hotel?Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Location and knowledgeable staff
Cons: Breakfast and wifi availability
Location: Good location once you find it.
Good location, 10 min ish bus ride to main attractions in Florence. Hard to find at first though - they need to trim the trees out front. Online it said there was wifi. We had to go to the lobby as did most if not all other people. It was rated four star which means you had to pay an extra €4 per person per night. We stayed in an adjacent building to the hotel and couldn't figure out how this hotel got a four star rating overall. Our washroom had the toilet raised on a marble slab and we both stubbed our toes on numerous occasions. Customer service was good, quite helpful and professional. Breakfast was okay, but they weren't on top of refilling stuff (e.g., we ran out of eggs one morning). For what we paid, we would expect more.

Pros: Room was adorable
Cons: WIFI could not be accessed from my room.
Location: Good restaurants in area and bus line was close. However, needed to take public transportation to see major sights.
WIFI was only available in lobby or courtyard. Not convenient.

All you need!Posted Aug 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel has a gym, free wifi, continental breakfast, AC for those hot Italian summers and your own balcony...we were thrilled, especially with the price for all of these amenities. The front desk was helpful on bus transport. We used our balcony every morning and night to look at the beautiful Tuscan hills. Sure you have to take the bus to the center, but the hotel is in quiet neighborhood so we didn't mind. You can't beat the price! I'm sure the hotel must have been better in years gone, but it still serves its purpose. Oh and the room was huge.

EWveryone was very nice and helpful . I would stay again in a heart beat. The hotel was clean and just far enough out of Florence that we didn't have to hear all the cars, people, sightseeing tours going through. Gret place. The price was perfect and the room was huge!
