“Wonderful place to stay in Firenze”

Kraft Hotel's location is minutes away from the Firenze's cultural center. Hotel is well maintained (pretty new). Rooms are pretty spaceous for European standards and well equipped. This hotel features a rooftop bar and restaurant with an amazing view of the old town. The only minor things to watch out for are parking and Internet. Parking is not available on the street. Hotel has agreed with a nearby garage to provide service for hotel guests (at around 25 Euros per day - very expensive). Parking staff will bring your car within 30 minutes of your call - but for extra 5 Euro charge. Parking is not open 24 hours, so if you have to leave in the early morning, make sure you get your car out previous night. Also Internet service on your room TV is slow and cumbersome. There is a PC with internet connetion (for 6 Euros per hour charge) but is very slow. These are minor things. Overall, I was very happy with our stay at Kraft Hotel.

“Wonderful quiet location”

Ideal location near station and city, easy walking distance. Large comfortable room with bath ( requested when booking through Expedia). Staff friendly, helpful. Breakfast OK, but not special, a few things could be better (eg the orange juice was actually squash), but leisurely and coffee good if you ask behind the bar for it. Highly recommended.

“Fabulous experience!”

Hotel Kraft was a wonderful place to call home for a week in Florence! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was yummy, the room was comfortable and clean, (although a bit small), and the rooftop pool was incredible. The view from the roof rivaled any in town. My daugther and I enjoyed relaxing by the pool after sightseeing every afternoon/evening. Night swims were also fun.

“Great Hotel; Great Location”

Just six stories, maybe only 50 rooms, with an expansive rooftop garden/bar & pool with really spectacular views of Florence in every direction. The Hotel is one block back from the river, just behind Embassy Row, and a very easy walk along the river to the Ponte Vechhio and several other points of interest. Truly friendly and helpful staff, extensive & , satisfying breakfast buffet, even Internet access in a room off the lobby - we'll stay there again on our Italian jaunt.

“Great hotel, especially for the price”

The absolute best quality is the rooftop bar. The view is excellent. My only complaint is that the walls are thin - it's a little noisy.

“Reasonably priced luxury”

Huge modern bathroom, high thread count sheets and a gorgeous breakfast buffet. The restaurant upstairs is top quality with a staff who emphasises innovation on Florentine standards. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Ponte Veccio bridge. There are several good restaurants close by as well. I'd definately stay again. I only wish they had electronic card readers instead of the key/lock with huge brass key ring. They encouraged us to leave the key behind...just a step I'd rather not deal with.

“Excellent Choice”

This hotel provides all you need in Florence. Helpful staff, clean, comfortable and decorative rooms & lobby and fairly good location. Top floor has a pool & bar which, overlooks this ancient picturesque city. We could have stayed a month

“A wonderful hotel”

The service at the hotel was excellent. The breakfasts that came with the stay were no comparison to the breakfasts they serve in hotels in USA. The hotel is well kept and ideally located for sightseeing. It has also a good restaruant.

“If returning to Florence would definitely use same hotel”

The Kraft Hotel is situated in a very pleasant tree lined quiet area and only about 6 minutes from trains and buses and all the main attractions in Florence. We had a beautiful room, very large with a spacious bathroom and quiet. Air conditioning was wonderful as some days it was 40C. Our bedlinen was changed almost every day as was towels. Only one little unimportant point was the queue for your morning drinks at breakfast. You had to use a machine which served for all sorts of coffee and hot water and the toasting machine, unlike anything I have seen before, never worked. Plenty of bacon and scrambled eggs, croissants, ham cheese and various cakes etc. Breakfast was on the 5th floor and you could take it outside on the rooftop to eat if you so wished.
