Pros: The roof garden with a bar.
Location: Within 15 minutes walk of the main attractions of Florence
A good hotel within walking distance of the city centre. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Lovely hotel with roof terracePosted Jul 9, 2014
We booked deluxe rooms & asked for balconies which were great. Good size & very comfortable. Hotel staff were all efficient & very friendly. Only a 10 min walk to the centre along the river Arno & taxis are there in minutes (if required). Everything is very accessible from the hotel though. The pool area/ rooftop terrace is wonderful after a day of sightseeing & offers great views. You can have breakfast lunch or dinner there & the bar is open until midnight for those pre/post dinner drinks. We loved it all & would definitely recommend!

Fabulous experiencePosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Pool / roof top bar / location. Staff and facilities were excellent.
Location: Booked for the Uffizi and a trip to Pisa. Would have been better to arrange Pisa by ourselves. Spent a day walking to Piazza Michelangelo - fabulous.
Lovely hotel in a great (quiet) location. Easy walk to the station. The views over Florence and the Tuscan hills from the roof top bar / pool are priceless. Great breakfasts. Very friendly staff. Stayed there some 30 years ago, and we were not disappointed.

We have stayed 3 nights at this hotel. They have a superb terrace overlooking the city and a nice pool. The room was ery clean but à bite small. The location of the hôtel is good. It is 10 min walking distance from the downton. It is located on a quite street.

Lovely Florence hotelPosted Jun 17, 2014
Had a lovely stay - upgraded to deluxe room - hotel staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the historical sights - start along the river, 10 minutes to Ponte Vecchio. Wonderful ristorante just on the corner. Watched the England v Italy World Cup game at the rooftop terrace bar which has amazing views across the city. Rooftop pool is small but relaxing. Valet parking for 20 Euros. Highly recommend.

Hotel 10 min walk to trainsPosted Jun 13, 2014
Cons: Basic painting and updating
Location: Did not stay long enough except to walk around and have dinner. Took one hour train ride to Pisa. A tourist trap worth seeing
The hotel was fine. Just in need of some updating and Maintainance. Pool was not quite as elegant as photo. But was clean. Rooms were a bit worn. Could use some updating of rugs and furniture. As long as you pay a reasonable price you won't go wrong.

Good location, friendly staff, tired roomPosted Jun 2, 2014
Cons: air conditioning and room updating.
Location: Good location, close to the river, not too far from city center.
Hotel staff was very good especially in the restaurant. The room was worn and over due to be redecorated. the air conditioning was weak. The restaurant food was very good, breakfast was good. Nice lounge on the roof top overlooking the city. Seemed expensive for the room condition.
