UpdatePosted Oct 26, 2014
Facilty needs to be updated. Cost of driving to hotel and storing your vehicle is pricy. To food at the hotel is just ok.

Great location and easy to findPosted Oct 18, 2014
The hotel was great but the staff did not mention garage parking fees until the car was getting picked up. Basically there are hidden fees until the day you check out.

HorriblePosted Sep 19, 2014
Was old it was a Booking error and no communication from Hotel Kraft informing is we were confirmed at the hotel so we stayed at another hotel 200 feet away. Then then next morning we booked on expedia and walked over to Kraft 10 mins later. The manager said that we we have been charged for 3 nights and it was non refundable. (All for he same 2 nights). . So We went up to the room and what a disappointment. It was horrible, old and smelly dirty carpet. They have not updated the rooms in years. The pictures on the brochure are exgagerated. This should be a 2*

Great location. Quiet area but still ver close to.Posted Aug 29, 2014
Very quiet hotel which I appreciated. No noise from maids and hotel staff in the morning. Breakfast great. Surrounding pool area could use some updating.

Lovely hotelPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Balconies, view From roof terrace is amazing, room, staff in fact the whole bundle.
Cons: Could be told about the City Tax when or before you get there. That's it, a great place to stay.
Location: The whole of the old city....... 10 minutes walk max! Walk another direction for 10 mins your at the train station. A more upmarket part of town.
From booking to leaving, it was a fantastic! The staff are polite if dealing with forthright individuals from across the globe, it was clean but the pool could do with a bit of a paint. The food was excellent and it's only 10 mins walk from the old part of Florence and the shops! ( this did cost me a bit as I took my girlfriend)!!!! Would definitely recommend this to friends as it attracts a nice standard of person.

Gorgeous views of Florence from rooftop pool/barPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: panoramic views of Florence, central, great room & bathroom with tub
Cons: concierge service
Location: It is central to all Florence tourist areas
The Kraft Hotel is an older, but lovely hotel. Pros: Gorgeous panoramic views of Florence from the hotel rooftop pool & bar areas. Small but nice pool. Nice restaurant & breakfast. Large room & bathroom with tub. Location was central and car rentals were within 2 minutes of walking distance. Cons: formal staff. We actually found this throughout most of Italy that hotel staff were very formal & polite but quite distant. Trying to get recommendations for what to do in the areas was quite difficult. Get a good guidebook for the areas that you will visit and plan what you want to do and organize it in advance of your trip.

Small friendly hotelPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: See above. Friendly, customer orientated. Prices
Cons: Limited by size. so difficult to improve.
Location: The location is good, ten minute walk from centre, near river and station. The roof pool and bar overlook the dome of the cathedral.
Small family hotel, lacking some facilities due to size . The staff very willing to help The food is good, but breakfast variety limited We enjoyed our 10 night stay and I rate the hotel excellent.
