“Extremely good value 3 star hotel.”

Excellent position, close to station and Duomo. Staff very helpfu and knowledgeable, especially when recommending good,local eateries. Room comfy with view over rooftops to the Cathedral. Breakfast was extremely adequate and plentiful. Would certainly stay here again!

“Great Stay in Florence”

This hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable, and a good size by European standards. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! It was within easy walking distance of the train station and a short cab ride from the airport. It was not difficult to walk to the main Florence sites from here. Also, there are numerous places to find a good meal just around the hotel.

“A definite contender”

Reception welcoming and friendly, room compact but clean and comfortable, but strongest attraction was the excellent central position, 12 minutes walk with suitcases from Main Florence Station and Bus station, and OK walk of 15 minutes to Duomo, and 17 to Uffizi. Amazing variety of eating places within easy reach..

“Just what we wanted”

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable for our budget. In particular the proximity to major sites was fantastic. Other friends have now stayed there and said it was just what they wanted.

“Great Hotel at a Great Price”

This hotel was great. It was close to everything (no mass transit needed at all). The room had a safe, fridge, AC that worked great and lots of space. Plus the hotel staff spoke great English and were very helpful. Overall this was a great hotel for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Kursaal Ausonia, which is a 10min walk from the main train station but is just far enough so you don't get any noise from the station. Bus and taxi stands nearby. Shops supermarkets and excellent restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. All main attractions of Florence within 10-15mins walk. Our room and bathroom were spotless and high standards of cleanliness were maintained throughout. Room fully air conditioned. Good continental breakfast served every morning. But, the BEST thing about this hotel is the staff, available 24hrs, very friendly, and most helpful, absolutely nothing is too much for them. They offered advice on travelling around Tuscany as we went to Pisa, Sienna, and Lucca and recommended some excellent restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel.

“Hotel perfect location and cosey”

Loved the hotel. Perfect location near the train staion & open market. Rooms fantastic & new bathroom with hairdrier. Room clean & lovely and warm. Good breakfast, pleasant staff behind desk & nice cosey sitting room with tv. Also a free safety deposit box & fridge in room. Really good value for money I would recommend it.

“Very impressed with the hotel”

We spent a week in the hotel. The location was perfect. It was central to all places of interest and close to the station and the meeting point for all of our excursions. It was clean and we had what we needed the owners were very friendly. We were close to many restaurants and very comfortable.

From start to finish our short break to florence was fantastic. The flights there and back were great, no delays whatsoever. Florence was a beautiful city with great food and so many wonderful things to see. As for the hotel, couldnt have asked for better. The staff were great the room was very clean and tidy(looked like new) and the location was ideal a short walk to all the attractions. the Uffizi gallery was a 30 min walk but walking around florence you really dont mind you can walk around there all day. also got a train to Pisa (1 hour)great value for money...And the weather was perfect.....
