Great value dealPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: A cheap deal, so comfort was not our priority and we wanted to see Florence, so we were out a lot. A hot teapot and milk available on request - great!
Cons: Breakfast was strange but plenty to choose from. Only issue, more fresh fruit would have been great. Occasionally, WiFi didn't work.
Location: The Accademia - 5 mins away, see Michelangelo's David as he should be appreciated. Also, 2 mins from the hotel the Covent of San Marco, excellent!
Centrally located, 5-10 minutes walk from many sites and galleries, 15-20 mins from the other side of the river and the Pitti/ Boboli. Lots of restaurants to choose from of varying types. Fiesola was a bus ride, but well worth the trip on a dry day. Buy the Firenze Card if you have 3 days/ more and want to see art and history, science at Museum of Gallileo too.

Not the greatestPosted Mar 1, 2014
This hotel is good for back packers who are only gona stay 1-2 nights. 4 of us stayed here & even though the rooms are cleaned & reception staff are pleasant its really not the nicest hotel. Breakfast was ok & the 1 lady who does the food is rude. Our shower was broken for 2 days even tho we told them the first night they only fixed it on our last. Location is good but apart from this I really would not stay here again the building is old & the lift only fits 2 people in it.

Cheap hotel right "in centro"Posted Jan 20, 2014
Five minutes away from 'il Duomo' this hotel offers a great value. With Internet and breakfast included in the price and so close the where the action is. I definitely recommend it.

Good budget hotelPosted Dec 11, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, location was close to town but far enough out to not be too noisy, friendly staff, the price.
Cons: Carpeted floors to keep noise down from floors above?
Location: Good location near to all tourist spots , buses , station etc
Stayed here for 3 nights in December , the room was basic but comfortable , fridge in room, hot good shower, air con/adjustable heating, room was very clean , overall very good for the price we payed. Buffet breakfast included was excellent, fresh and good choice of cereal, pastries, cold meat, cheese bread and croissants etc. My only small gripe was we were on the 3rd floor, breakfast was on the 4th floor above and there was a lot of noise from early in the morning with footsteps above on the concrete floors and could also hear the lift travelling up and down. Ok if you're not a light sleeper like me !!,

Perfect locationPosted Nov 30, 2013
I booked this trip as a surprise birthday treat for my daughter. The staff were friendly and the hotel had a homely feel. Breakfast was nice, lovely way to start the day looking out over Florence from breakfast room. Room was very clean. We loved all the quirky artwork. 2 mins very pleasant walk to Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio .

It's a 4 room, one double bed and two single bed, which makes the room big. Very good location, 1 min from the academic gallery (original David).
