Good location, but not worth the price

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Location and the roof top garden
Cons: Hotel furnishings are worn, musty and dusty. Breakfast should be provided in one or two of the small sitting rooms, rather than the dreary gymnasium.
Location: You can get anywhere in Florence. Location is fantastic, near fashion shopping, Arno, Ponte Vecchio and all the sites, sounds and flavors of Florence
Hotel is in a great location, just steps from the Arno, and in a very safe and accessible part of Florence. The rooftop garden for late afternoon prosecco is lovely, gorgeous garden. However, the hotel itself is a little worn, and the breakfast is certainly nothing special. For the price I paid (comparable to rates at a top service hotel in NYC), for a single room on the top floor for four nights, I expected a little more comfort and a little more luxury.

Excellent Hotel and Location for City Break

Posted May 13, 2015
My wife and I stayed for a short break for our honeymoon. What a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the roof top garden terrace is lovely for sitting out to enjoy lovely food and drink offered by the hotel. Hotel is perfectly situated in central Florence to walk to all the sights and was just a 5min walk from central station making it very easy to find. We would definitely stay again.

Excelente hotel!!!

Hotel muy bien ubicado. Las habitaciones enormes, solo es un poco incómodo la regadera pero en general excelente. El personal muy amable, desayuno bien. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Ubicado en una zona de compras, puente vecchio muy cerca!

We loved staying here...

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Lots of character, in historic district and close to train station. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The elevators are small, this may not be easy to change architecturally.
Location: High end shopping in the same block, the hotel is a few blocks walk to the Uffizi, duomo, Ponte Vecchio and piazza della Signoria.
A beautiful place, several centuries old, but clean and functional. To get from the elevator to our room was a maze of turns and going up and down steps but we found this to be very enjoyable walking past the beautiful sitting areas, art and urns.

Great Hotel in Prime Location

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Location, comfort and service.
Cons: The lunchtime menu at the Rooftop Restaurant, which provided great views of the surrounding area, was a little limited.
Location: A ten minute walk from :- The Duomo, the Galleria Dell'Accademia (Michaelangelo's "David"), The Uffizi Gallery (Boticelli to Raphael) and more.
My Son and I stayed at the hotel for seven days. It is located within easy walking distance of all of the must-see places of interest in this beautiful city : The Duomo, The Uffizi Gallery. The Ponte Vecchio, etc. The rooms were very comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were unfailingly friendly and attentive. The Continental Breakfast included in our tariff was comprehensive and provided a good start to a day of sightseeing.. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay in Florence, in a prime location offering comfort and a high level of service. .

We were treated like royalty.

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The welcome, the amenities, the rooms, the toiletries, just everything.
Cons: na
Location: Oh my we were in the fashion district, short walk from the train station. High end stores, fun to window shop and near to many other sites (museums)
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were taken to a private "living room" for a welcome drink, to complete hotel registrations, received a map of the city and surroundings we might want to visit. All a nice touch.

Convenient location.

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Great location
Cons: Front desk staff could be more helpful
Location: Duomo, Acadamia, Uffizi Museum
Hotel was very nice. Check in was wonderful. The first night we could not sleep due to construction outside our window. Front desk staff did nothing to compensate. When we asked for restaurant recommendations they only wanted to send us to their restaurant.

Absolute Perfection!

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location in close proximity to the central shopping district, museums, and numerous restaurants. One of the bridges to the Oltrarno is just steps away. The hotel has recently expanded by adding several new floors. Just a great stay. We have been there several times before. It just keeps getting better and better.
