“Create villa-like setting”
Tornabuoni Beacci gives you the feel of staying in an original Florentine villa. It has great atmosphere, large rooms including drawing rooms to linger in. The breakfast is excellent, a big spread of choices. The staff is extremely helpful. And it is located near all the major sites.
“Terrific hotel!”
The Tornabuoni Beacci is a terrific hotel - great location, wonderful building, and very friendly service. We'll definitely go back!
“Central location”
Fabulous central location - very convenient to walk to most of the sites - typically less than 10 or 15 minutes to everything. Rooms were very reasonably priced and very comfortable - we had rooms 16 & 19. Room 19 was quite large for a European hotel - bathroom very good size as well. Hotel staff extremely nice - hint, have them book your reservation for the Uffizi Museum and/or Accademia Gallery when you arrive so that you avoid the 1 to 2 hour lines to get inside those museums. You'll then pick up your tickets at the Museum about 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation time & zip right in. Enjoy the bar inside the hotel as well as the rooftop terrace. We definitely would stay here again.
“Excellent hotel and location”
Can't fault the hotel or staff. Lifts are a tad slow and the reception is upstairs so we had to go up to drop off our keys each morning - but who's in a rush anyway! Great room, great roof patio, good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff and perfect location for city centre and all the sites - will definitely go back.
“Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci”
This hoel was a delight. While an older building with antique furnishings, they were useful, comfortable and well maintained. Nice bathroom toiletries. All of the rooms are different and I got to peak into a few. We had a back of building -no view but quiet. The breakfast was very nice but could get crowded in the dining room. In warm weather the patio looked like it would be delightful to eat out on. Several lounges and hidden patios. I wish I had had more time to explore the nooks and crannies. Consierge service was very attentive and helpful with all types of recommendations. They made reservations and got us into the Uffizi when our tour was cancelled.
“a blissful oasis”
One of the many highlights of our week in Florence was our time spent at Tornabuoni Beacci. Every afternoon we would enjoy a bottle of wine on the beautiful rooftop terrace reliving the days events and deciding what to do about dinner. The staff could not have been nicer to us and helped us with dinner reservations and last-minute reservations to the Galleria dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. It was the trip of a lifetime for us, and Tornbuoni Beacci helped to make it memorable!
“Sunsets and Bellinis”
This hotel has, without a doubt, some of the nicest staff. The conceirge was extremely helpful - she made reservations for us, canceled reservations for us, booked us tickets for museums. When we checked in and were unsatisfied with our room we were moved to a much nicer room with an incredible view without any arguments on their part.
“Love this hotel”
We recently traveled to Italy for our honeymoon and stayed in four different hotels along the way. This hotel was by far the best. The room was spacious and the view from the outside terrace was amazing. The service was excellent and the location was perfect. We would highly reccommend this hotel.
“Comfortable, friendly and very old Europe”
This is a charming and friendly hotel with a feeling of pre-War Europe, set on Florence's exclusive shopping street, via Tornabuoni. The public spaces are quiet and relaxing (comfortable sofas and copies of Country Lide), with a particularly fine roof terrace overlooking the south-west of the city - perfect for prosecco as the sun sets. Rooms are decorated in a traditional style and are well-maintained. The service is friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a haven from modern tourism, with a slightly faded air, then this is ideal. If you are looking for a shiny, modern hotel, this is not for you.
“Fantastic hotel, beautiful roof patio with view, will return”
Position of hotel is wonderful, 5 mins to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo etc. Staff were very helpful. We enjoyed sipping our drinks in the evening on the roof patio overlooking the city. Our room was just opposite the reception so was a little noisy at night but that didnt really detract from the experience. I would definately recommend hotel and will return.
