“Great Location - Fabulous View”

We couldn't have asked for more in a hotel in Florence. The location was great - easy access to Ponte Vecchio and in a nice quiet side street. They have a Garden Terrace on the top of the hotel (Bar service in the evenings) with the most incredible view of Florence. It's a 360 degree view of the entire city! Check it out at sunset! The staff was very pleasant and friendly. More than happy to recommend some great dining options. We would definitely stay here again.

“No Regrets!”

This hotel balances excellent location, affordability, and service. We stayed here for a week-long vacation and absolutely loved it. The central location (3 min to Duomo/Ufizzi/Shopping, 1 min to Ponte Vecchio) made getting around so easy; and unlike many of the other convenient hotels, Torre Guelfa is on a quiet side-street away from the tourist crowds. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and all spoke English. The view from the tower was fantastic! Overall an outstanding hotel!

“Hotel Torre Guelfa”

Beautiful old hotel with a great history. Huge room with all the feel of medieval times. We did not like breakfast, felt they should have had hot dishes like eggs etc but it is strictly continental style. We liked our location and found it easy to walk to the sites of the old city of Florence and our concierge made some great recommendations for restaurants to eat at. We had a positive experience at this hotel and recommend a visit.
