Great Spot in Central Florence
The hotel/B&B was in a perfect central location. The room was spacious, decorated nicely, and everything was quiet throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location in Florence
I had a very pleasant stay. Quiet, clean and excellent location right in the city center. Most places of interest are within walking distance. The hosts were really welcoming and kindly offered information to move around in the city. Single bed was comfortable but being used to a double- sized bed, I found it a bit too narrow. I would stay here again, though!

Il Salotto stay
Il Salotto is located right in front of the duomo where all the action is, prime location where we enjoyed the easy convenient distances to everything. The check-in is until 2pm so after that you get code instructions to access your rental. No hassle for 2 nights. The breakfast though is a bit late starting at 8am to 10am as we had an early tour at 8 so we went on empty stomach. They also clean up the breakfast really fast ( nothing available anymore at 10). Besides that everything was good. The city of Firenze is beautiful

We would like to underline that Our breakfast is from 9.00 to 10.00 when we serve fresh products in the kitchen (croissants, sandwiches delivered by a local bakery daily) but in the room you have already a part of the breakfast available in a container with various packaged products as cereals, biscuitis, marmelades/jams. Plus, the prodcuts in the shared refrigirator in the kitchen offers yogurts, juices, fresh fruits and etc daily and you are free to take it anytime. That's to give the chance to have breakfast before Our time. For any need, if alerted the day before, we can try to satisfy all the circumstances. Thanks again..!!

This b&b is in an extraordinary location convenient to everything. It is very well appointed--my room was large, airy, and very quiet despite being on a busy street. The young man at the desk was very gracious and helpful. I will definitely stay her again.

Like Staying on Broadway
Truly in city center, for site seeing or designer shopping. The hotel sets above the Gucci store and across the street from the Prada Store, while being less than 100 yards from the Baptismal in the square. The most challenging and secure thing about this hotel is that you have to get through four locked doors to be in your modern comfortable room. It would be my first choice on my next trip to Florence.

Location is a stone throw away from Duomo. Right in the middle of everything. Everything is immaculately clean. Fast wifi conncetion. Owner and manager has very good taste obviously shows with their place. Staff super friendly and accommodating. They even helped us carry our bag down the stairs since we had too many bags which filled the elevator. I strongly recommend Il Salloto.

Location perfect. Staff super friendly & helpful.
Lovely, friendly place. Very helpful. Complimentary tea, coffee, snacks and drinks/beers in the kitchen area is a really nice touch. Rooms spacious (lovely high ceilings) and well-kept. Lovely balcony, too. Crisp, clean, pressed white sheets and pillowcases. Perfectly located for walking - close to most everything - but taxi rank just across road if you need it. Alessandro also happy to book you a taxi from his office which helped when we wanted to get back to airport. Checkout quite early at10.30 am, but you can store luggage and collect later which is great. Few minor snags - couldn't get air conditioning or satellite TV to work, though maybe if we had tried before 1pm while Alessandro was still there he would have showed us (didn't try 'til later when we got back to room after dinner and felt it was too late to disturb Alessandro with a phone call!). Shower grouting/sealing/doors could also do with a little work work, but bathroom otherwise spotless. Definitely a B&B and not an hotel - but an extremely friendly and perfectly located B&B!

We were pleased with our accommodation. We had a room on the second floor with a terrace across the street from Prada downtown. We were closely located to the Uffizzi and the Accademia. I had requested a reservation and admission ticket be made at Accademia prior to arriving in Firenze. Marco did this and also made reservations for us for dinner at a restaurant. He also gave us other suggestions for restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the comfort of our large room and large bath. The service by Marco and Alessandro was excellent. The Italian breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Food is provided throughout the stay such as drinks/coffee, snacks, fruit and occasionally pastries. We found this to be very helpful when we stopped into the kitchen after our sightseeing. There are only a few rooms in the B & B. The staff arrive early in the morning and are there until mid-afternoon. We did not feel that was an issue for us. When we asked, we were also able to have breakfast served early when necessary.

One corner from the Dumo, 10 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. Perfect location. Rooms in the back are very quiet. Alessandro makes the best cappuccino any time you need them. The breakfast area is open to you anytime you want something: water, juice yogurt etc. a great bargain for the price.

A beautiful BnB in an amazing location.
We checked in after the staff had left for the day but there was great communication with instructions for accessing the doors and gaining entry into the room. The room was perfect. Clean with all the amenities. Breakfast in the morning was basic with meats and cheeses (the usual European breakfast) and pastries. Coffee, espresso and biscuits were available all day. The hotel was above a Gucci store and our room overlooked the 3 story Prada store across the street and is literally right next to the Duomo. It's a very convenient location but was a little noisy through the night but not so bad that it was much of a negative. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence!

You can't get much better!!!
The hotel couldn't be in a better place and frankly I was shocked at how cheap the room was for the location. The guy at the reception desk showed me everything I needed to know about the room and the rest of the hotel. I thought the nicest perk was having access to the kitchen whenever I wanted and free of charge. The room was very comfortable aside from the bed, which was very stiff but that's more of a personal preference. If I were to visit Florence again I would search for this hotel first before all others.

Second floor hotel in building around the corner from the Duomo and within easy walking distance of Academy train station, ponte vecchio etc.Second floor of non descript building but clean, modern and with english speaking reception. European breakfast included. Unusual check-in hours but very accomodating. Recommend it.

Really Nice Place!
I loved this hotel! The location was amazing- a few seconds from the Duomo! The room was very nice, modern and clean. The building was very secure, and pretty quiet at night. When the staff was there, they were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice, and the staff even made me lovely cappuccinos each morning! My only complaint would be that the staff was only available for limited hours, from 8 to 1:30. I came in on the later side, around 8pm, and the self-check in process went smoothly, so I guess they make the limited hours work, it was just a little nerve racking since I'm not used to that.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here. The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was tasty and filling - pastries, bread, cereal, juice, yoghurt. Also loved the free snacks and drinks you can have at any time. The location was very convenient, right next to the duomo and a 5-10 min walk from the train station. The staff were lovely and very very helpful. We were very impressed!

Good hotel on the edge of Piazza Duomo di Firenze
We spent one day/night at this hotel for a brief stay in Florence/Firenze. Hotel staff person Alessandro was very helpful in checking us in, making us a coffee & snack on arrival, & prepared a wonderful breakfast the following morning. Hotel was located on second floor (stairs) only 50 meters or so off the Piazza Duomo, a major attraction (cathedral, bell tower & baptistry) in Florence. Train station, restaurants, cafes, bank machines, high end & typical touristy shopping abounded within 10 walk of the hotel. Popular attractions were within 20 minutes or so on foot: Uffizi gallery, Bargello museum, Medici chapel & palace, etc. The Old Bridge / Porta Vecchia, River Arno, Pitti Palace & other points of interest are 30 min or more away (depending on walking speed, ability to not get lost, etc.). Our room was very clean, comfortable, well maintained & at high standard re: furniture, bed, toilet facilities. Our window view was into a back alley which avoided noise from the street. With so much to see in Florence, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The common area was available for coffee & snacks anytime. A large bookcase of tourist guides in various languages was available for guests' use.

Great Hotel at a Great Price
Our stay at the II Salato de Firenze was very pleasant. The hotel itself was very much like you find all throughout Italy but the room was very clean and the staff had gone to extra lengths to help make our stay a more enjoyable one. Before we even arrived we received several e-mails asking us about our arrival time and if we needed any directions on how to get there from the train station. Upon arrival the hotel manager showed us to our room immediately and asked us if we would like a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of water or juice. He was very polite and within a few minutes brought us back to large glasses of juice and then explained that the kitchen area was just down the hall and that we could go down there anytime and feel free to help our selves to any water, juices, snacks, etc. Inside the room was a guide created by the hotel that showed local information like where the local super markets are located and such. It was very helpful in helping us to get know the area. Overall it was a great hotel and we would have stayed there a second night but they were all booked up.

Location could not be better right at the Duomo in Florence. This central location was the perfect spot to discover all of the gifts that Florence has to offer. If arriving by train it is a brief 2 block walk from the station. We were greeted joyfully when we arrived. The room was gorgeous with a comfortable bed, sitting area and private bathroom with shower. The room over looked a very busy road that was quite noisy at night. Don't plan on sleeping past 7 when the Duomo bells start to ring but breakfast is at 8 so it gets you up and ready to take on your adventures. The staff is extremely helpful with anything you need. This was a truly welcoming and warm experience.

Il Satlotto di Firenze was a wonderful place to stay during our trip tp Florence. It is centerally located right next to the Catheradal, only 10 mins walk from the station.Being a beautiful old building, it is also very quiet. the rooms are beautiful and so very clean. The kitchen is open at all times to all guests & is well stocked with drinks, tea, coffee & fruits etc. Theere are only 6 guest rooms & Marco is so welcoming, he is a wealth of knowledge regarding the things to do & sights to see in Florence.The bed was not the most comfortable one, but I would still stay there again if we ever get back to Florence!

We loved this B&B! It was very well located and the staff was very nice and helpful, giving us tips and cues about where to go. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. We also liked the fact that snacks, juices, tea and coffee was available all day long. We would definitely go back there when in Florence.

Two things, the room smelled like it was old, but everything was very clean and tidy, and what I disliked the most was that they didn't answer whatsup because I had problems entering the property. They didn't answer my WhatsApp because I had questions about the code, I was outside for 40 minutes with my suitcases waiting, then when we were able to enter, as there was no information about the Wi-Fi inside the room, I tried to communicate again by WhatsApp and nothing, it was the next day that I left the room to the office, which was closed, and I saw that on a little card there was the Wi-Fi information. For someone arriving on a vacation trip, it was very frustrating.

糟糕的住宿體驗
房間不乾淨，床單上還有污漬，訂房時也沒標注櫃檯人員下午兩點就下班，抵達前一天才寄mail通知，很糟糕。我自助check in搞了半天才弄好。房間滿陰暗的，但地點不錯。但房間實在太髒，所以我臨時改去住別家飯店。

Gent.mo, grazie per il suo messaggio. Siamo spiacenti per quanto ha scritto ma non corrisponde alla situazione reale. Per la Reception: abbiamo inviato almeno 2 email a cui non abbiamo avuto risposta dopo che abbiamo provato a contattarla telefonicamente senza risultato il giorno stesso del Suo arrivo. A quel punto abbiamo comunque preparato l’arrivo autonomo (SELF CHECK-IN) con le modalità descritte nella e-mail inviata il giorno del check-in. Se come afferma conosceva già gli orari dovuti ai suoi frequenti controlli delle email perché non ci ha avvisato? Pulizie: la camera era perfettamente rifatta e pulita. Lenzuola ed asciugamani e tutto il corredo. La stanza e’ stata usata da voi e poi avete scelto di lasciarla per andare in un altro alloggio, come ci avete riferito il giorno successivo. Avete deciso questo perché non di Vostro gradimento non perché non pulita. Rimaniamo a Vs. completa disposizione.
