disappointing

Pros: staircase and wisteria outside
Cons: decor, cleanliness, breakfast items seemed old....was very hostel like
Location: near train station about 20 min walk to centre....bit on the rough side.
paint peeling off walls, mucky rugs on floor....only saviour was that it had parking, the air conditioning worked and we had patio doors to an outside space albeit not private. Breakfast was poor, room not as nice expected from looking at photos provided at time of booking... and in a not so nice area of Florence....have found much better for less money wise. Had a very hostel feel to it but at a much higher price.

Well-located quality B&B

Posted Jul 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed there one Saturday night on a quick trip to Florence, end of June 2012. The place is tastefully decorated, it has a homey feeling, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The parking inside the property is very convenient, although it wouldn't be difficult to park on the quiet street. The city center and the main attractions are a 30-minutes walk away (according to the staff), but we took buses 4 or 28 and were in the center in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was delicious, espescially the cold yoghurt. The only drawback to us was the location of our bedroom, right in front of the breakfast place, which means we were awake as soon as the first guests went to have breakfast. But we would definitely go back to that B&B on our next trip to Florence.

A Florentine delight

A delightful little hotel within 20 minutes walk of the centre of Florence. We had the downstairs bedroom overlooking the enchanting garden - French windows that entered the garden. Even though it was close to the centre of Florence it was possible to park for FREE. They also allowed us to use the car park after we had handed in our keys for the rest of the day
