Cynzia and Michael are the owners, only 5 or 6 rooms, beautiful remodleing of propery. Rooms VERY spacious, extremely nice. Michael cooks a fantastic breakfast each morning, as well as coffee, light foods out. Are as interactive (or not) as you would like them to be, not pushy. Cynzia was an excellent guide/resource for sites, walking routes, things to do. An awesome place especially for first time visitors to Florence as we were. Great location for being able to walk everywhere and not need a car. Would recommend without any reservations whatsoever, look forward to returning.

This former palazzo is so different from the usual anonymous, uniform city hotel. The experience started after booking when we received a personal email from the hotel welcoming us and describing what they could offer and what was included in our stay.
Our suite, one of only 10 bedrooms, was large, with dressing room and spacious marble bathroom. The four poster bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The other public rooms are elegantly decorated and furnished with antiques, books, orchids and attractive ornaments.
However, what sets this hotel apart from most others is the feeling that you are staying as an
honoured guest in a private house. There was no book of information in the room but members of staff are on hand to help you in every way. We were warmly greeted on arrival and served with prosecco and canapes on the roof terrace. Breakfast is served either indoors or outside as you wish and there is a wide choice of freshly cooked and cold dishes. each afternoon we were offered tea and delicious cakes and later, prosecco and canapes. All the members of staff are friendly, smartly dressed and professional.
Although the hotel is centrally situated, our room was quiet at night and the large roof garden is remarkable for the size of the mature trees growing there. Although there were other guests staying there, you hardly saw or heard them and the atmosphere is quiet and calm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would love to retu

Nice hotel in a great location within walking distance of the main attractions in Florence and the train station. The room was immaculate and the hotel was very grand including a marble stair case leading up to a grand entrance, beautifully decorated rooms and parquet floors. The bed and pillows were great and the hotel is very secure.

A very good hotel and just the right distance from Florence town centre. The hotel has attentive staff and a very nice quiet location with only a short walk to all the main attractions, restaurants and bars. My only criticism of the hotel would be that it is a little expensive for lunch and dinner and their is no real bar area.

The hotel is magnificent. Beautiful grounds, super room. It felt like we were guests in a palace. Best of all the service was supreme. Everyone we encountered could not have been more eager to be of help--the entire staff made us feel very special.

Amazing holiday. Great staff, hotel, food and drink. I only have one criticism that the drinks prices are expensive. It didn't put us off from using the bar but it seemed no one used it whilst we were there.
