Good location,quaint hotelPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Location, historical building, clean, excellent hostess
Cons: Storage in bathroom
Location: Florence awaits, great restaurants on every corner, beautiful sites.
Our stay at the Michelangelo was good, the location is very close to main tourist area (20 min walk) Angela is a terrific host and takes care of all your needs. On the negative although few we're the traffic noise and lack of storage space in bathroom. Other than that great hotel and experience. Thanks Angela

Wonderful setting, room, and staffPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Large room, location was great-off the mainstream but still close to the city's features.
Cons: Street noise was a bit hight but this was because our room was at the front of the hotel and we like windows open at night.
Location: Florence. Do Florence. Also there is a small commercial area only 4 block or so from the hotel and lots of choices for caffe and groceries.
We had a lovely stay in a great big room with the surprise treat of a kitchenette making breakfasts a simple matter of going to the market the preceding evening.

Very good family accomodationsPosted Jul 14, 2013
We used this hotel as home-base for exploring alot of Tuscany. We wanted to be close to Florence (15 min walk), have free parking and space enough for a family of four not to be too crowded. Communication wit owners was excllent pre and post arrival. They gave us some excellent local recommendations for food which saved us much time and money yet were of excellent quality. The hotel was also able to arrange a special table for us at a v popular restaurant in Fiesole the night of a v big festival there - itvwas excellent! The rooms are very clean and very spacious. The decor is a bit dated (traditional) but still comfortable. One of our rooms had a functional kithcenette which allowed us to have some breakfast food and coffee on hand. Overall, very good place to stay.

Perfect RetreatPosted May 22, 2012
Pros: The large rooms and Angela's hospitality.
Location: Absolutely great. Close to the city and all forms of transport.
The Residenze is just on the outskirts of the city, about 15 to 20 mins walk to the city centre. It's location is fantastic if you're looking for something different to a city hotel. The local bus stop and the Hop On Off Bus are only 200m from the front door and Taxi rank is only 300m away. Angela was absolutely great. She was so friendly and helpful to us and she always made time to stop and talk to us about our day. The rooms are lovely and they are really large, clean and have everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and so are the gardens. This is a really peaceful Residenze and we recommend it highly. Would love to go back there.

Lovely residence with first class bed and linen. Great for luxury nights sleep and a cut above a the rest. In good location in 20 mins walking distance from the centre with very secure parking and good hosts. Perfect for longer stay's in Florence and if you don't mind preparing your own food the room had adequate kitchen facilities.

Perfecto!!Posted Aug 20, 2010
The property is a beautiful Florentine Villa. It has self contained facilities, tastefully decorated and a beautiful location. The staff are outstanding and we were very grateful for all of the advice that they afforded us regarding restaurants etc. Very secure property. I will be booking Residenza Michelangiolo on our next trip to Florence. the property is suitable for families as well as couples. Highly recommended!!
