“Great place to explore Tuscany from”

This hotel is ideally located in a really beautiful area of Tuscany. The staff are exceptionally friendly giving a very good atmosphere. The food is of a very good standard and the outdoor dining area is a delight. The accomodation is spacious and nicely serviced each day. It is ideally located for Florence and the Chianti wineries and if you like to relax in the resort you have all the amenities you will require. I highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to see the best in Tuscany

“Romantic Converted Farm in Tuscany”

Monsignor Della Casa is a beautifully updated and decorated converted farm in a lovely Tuscan setting. There is a restaurant on site that serves excellent meals, but they are closed 2 nights a week. The room we had was very nice; very comfortable bed, nice furnishings, nice bathroom, and plenty of closet and bureau space. The only major thing lacking was air conditioning, although the nights were cool. There were also no screens on the windows, so we were occasionally annoyed by mosquitos. You might want to insist on screens and a fan. Location-wise, the property is a little hard to find, so ask for directions ahead of time. We took a GPS unit; no luck. Borgo San Lorenzo is the closest town, then look VERY carefully for small roadside signs. There is wireless internet, but not in the rooms. You will have to go to the restaurant/wine bar to use it, and to sign up. And only 1 or 2 at a time. There are additional charges for the Wellness Center, use of tennis court, and other charges. A tab is run; no cash is needed on the property. A bill for meals, wine and extras was presented upon checkout. The staff is very gracious and friendly, the property is romantic and gorgeous, the location is good for side trips-- we went to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena-- and the countryside is amazing. Bottom line: a very romantic, friendly country resort; we loved it, and plan a return visit.

we spent 2 nights with our 3 kids. the location is great, got a warm welcome, superb accomodation in nice tuscany style villa. food there is delicious. staff is very professional. really looking forward to go back.

“Wonderful rural setting, great ambience.”

A wonderful country hotel comprising a number of suites across several buildings. Great views of the surrounding hills. We found it quiet and peaceful for couples and our 2-year old enjoyed the children's activity area, far enough from the buildings not to disturb anyone. The people were very friendly and helpful. The setting is great for walks and cycling locally but also convenient for Florence (40 mins by train preferably or car). We drove to Pisa and Siena easily from here too. Finally if you're interested in birding the nesting Redstarts put on a fine show (early May) as did the occasional Hoopoe fly-through. We will definitely be back.

“Tuscan Jewel”

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Top notch all the way, set in a beautiful country location. The room was large, very comfortable, and had an amazing view of the countryside. Breakfast was great, staff was super helpful. If you want a place to relax, this is it. Wireless internet too slow to use, and thank heavens because what a waste of time that would have been in such a beautiful place. Pools and spas are well maintained. I could spend a week there and still not want to leave. They arranged a horse back ride tour for us nearby that was fantastic.

“Wonderful Hotel!”

The Monsignor della Casa Country Resort is a superb hotel, in a wonderful location. We were there on our honeymoon and the staff could not have done more to make our stay any better. Always happy and cheerful and willing to help in any possible way. The hotel was a great place from which to explore Tuscany, we hired a car and found it very easy to get to all the major sites. Plus a train from the local town to Florence was very quick and cost only 6 euros return. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone!

“Excellent place to stay near Florence”

We had an excellent stay at the Monsignor della Casa, which is more a country resort than a hotel. The staff was welcoming and very nice, the facilities lovely and the rooms are in fact appartments. The countryside around the resort is worth staying over for at least a few days.

“Very Impressed”

Way out in the middle of no where is the wonderful, wonderful, gem. We had a two story suite which was larger than what is considered a large apartment in many U.S. cities. The staff was always there to help and to recommend places to eat (a down side is that their restaurant is not open for lunch and is closed some nights). The restaurant being closed is not a major problem if you are in a suite as they have kitchens but if you are in a regular room, it may get a little old driving into town for your meals. We highly recommend this place for total relaxation and enjoying the beauty of Tuscany.

“Wonderfull Tuscany Experience”

We arrive late and had a warm welcome, The cabin was very cozy, with it's own kitchen. Excellent service, rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy. The gave us really nice tips and made arrangemets for eating and shopping.

Having spent a very relaxing Easter weekend in beautiful weather at the Resort during which time we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent food. The staff are extremely motivated, efficient and proud of their job. Finally, I would like to congratulate the owner for the passion with which he operates the Resort and for his attention to detail.
