Lovely accommodations, helpful staffPosted Nov 7, 2013
We enjoyed a brief two night stay here. The room was almost too comfortable to leave but the nearby historical attractions prevailed. The staff was extremely helpful in scheduling tours and transportation. We would stay again in spite of the fluctuating water temperature during showers (our only minor complaint).

Very nice and comfortablePosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: High quality accommodation
Cons: Wifi is free if you give up your Facebook (or equivalent) details. If you don't want to do that, then you must pay. I think that's a bit off frankly
Location: Close to the station, about 15mins walk to the Duomo and the other main sites
Beautifully appointed hotel - the public areas are very opulent, the rooms fitted to high standard, really luxurious. Staff were helpful and courteous, had an enjoyable stay

Amazing stay.Posted Sep 6, 2013
Cons: The signage around the hotel was minimum, it was slightly difficult initially find it.
Location: The hotel is not in the core of Florence however it is about a ten minute walk from the main attractions and transit.
The hotel was excellent, the room was clean, and very spacious, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although we did not have breakfast at the hotel, we did have dinner and cocktails which was very good.

Pretty boutique hotel in a great location.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The look and cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding!
Cons: The hotel required the city tax to be paid in cash which I was not expecting. Why couldn't it have been added to the total charge on credit card?
Location: The location was perfect!! We were able to walk to and from the train station. We were also able to walk around all of the sites in Florence.
We stayed 3 nights. The hotel was in a great location which allowed us to walk everywhere without having to take a taxi or bus to get to the sites or restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed information on how to take a train to Pisa.

Not a 5 star experiencePosted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town.
Cons: Staff attitude and higher standards of food and service.
Location: Florence is amazing and the hotel is well located.
The staff are not particularly friendly and welcoming. You arrive at 10:20am for breakfast that finishes at 10:30am and you get the feeling you are NOT welcome. Scrambled egg well and truly rubber by that time - all of which is just not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. They need to take a trip to Dubai and see how it should be done.

The perfect HotelPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is only a walking distance from the hotel to the city center. Perfect boutique hotel. very classical. it only needs a pool but if you are not interested in it. then this is the one.
