Great hotel for everyone---Romantik Hotel
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Everything about the hotel is beautiful.
Cons: Not too direct route as its on one way system on the way. No problem on the way out. Taxi to city E$20 to $E25
Location: Apart from out of city location, one can go for long walks, some small shops and cafe nearby. Coop Supermarket nearby but you need car or taxi.
Hotel is beautiful and it does have a home feel factor. You have to experience it to know what I am talking about. Arno River is just there. Not noisy, more of soothing. Swimming Pool great but a wee bit too cold but had used it on the last day when it stayed sunny and warm all day. Hotel Staff just friendly from ancillary staff to management. We enjoyed our breakfast and evening meal. Price charges no different from really good restaurant in the city. Lots of home made pasta and evening meals are just simply delicious and so is the wine! Shuttle bus provided 3x morning and afternoon as late as 7:30pm pick up or you can take a bus walking distance from hotel about 5 to 10minutes in front of church. Would definitely come back and recommend this gorgeous hotel. Their sister hotels are Hotel Olme and Plaza Luchessi Hotel overlooking the river in the city.

Best in hotel restaurant and service!
Posted Jan 26, 2013
Pros: The restaurant and staff in the restsurant
Cons: Wifi in the room could have been better
Location: I liked that this hotel was out of the hussle and bussle of the city
I loved this hotel so much and am sad that we had to leave. The service was excellent, especially by the restaurant staff and the food both at breakfast and at dinner in the restaurant was first class. We stayed here for three nights and had dinner in the restaurant all three nights and not once did it disappoint! Will miss the beautiful staff in the restaurant! The spa bath in the room was also very good and the bus shuttle service into town.

Superb hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel which is a 15 minute taxi journey or courtesy minibus from Florence. The building is an old water mill that has been lovingly restored. The staff were exceptional , the food was great and the setting, on the river, is perfect to relax after busy days sight-seeing in Florence.

EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Pros: The view of the river.....
Cons: nothing!
Location: Countryside flavor
This hotel is a hidden gem just off the beaten path. They provide a shuttle service to downtown, so no problem there. It offers you the luxury of the countryside views and relaxation without the big city hassels. The service on every level is the best I've had. The food at the resturant was exceptional!! We will be back!!!!

Great Romantic Hotel
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Romantic setting, beautiful inside and out with an attentive and friendly staff.
Cons: Patio was closed due to weather.
Location: It's a bit isolated from Florence but that made it more romantic - there's a free shuttle that runs all day and being out of the city is worth it!
This hotel was wonderful. We stayed at 4 hotels during our Italy trip and this one was one of our favorites. The room overlooked the river and was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The restaurant was better than anywhere we ate in Florence. The only complaint was that due to the weather, we couldn't sit out on the patio of the restaurant and there were limited other places to sit with a view - but that's a very minor nit-picking complaint.

Quiet Location

We took a family vacation to Firenze and stayed at the Mulino because of its location and decor. We loved almost everything. We were surprised at the cost of our bar tab, and it was only two drinks. We laughed it off and were glad that we didn't have any more to drink. The place is still fantastic and would/will recommend to others.

Perfect for overall Florence experience
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Again, perfect for the all-inclusive experience of Florence!
WONDERFUL in every way. Loved the location (quiet and just a quick trip into the center), on the river, wonderful views, and it felt like I was really in Italy. Customer service was outstanding (and even more so when compared with a lot of other places in Italy), care for my older parents was fantastic, and the place was just outstanding. Restaurant is superb and not over-priced. If I go to Florence again, I will definitely be staying here!

Weekend Getaway
Posted Jan 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was the most amazing hidden gem in Firenze! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the customer service was amazing! Amillio at the bar was knowledgable and polite, and Aldo and Ray in the Ristorante were kind and personable. We had a weekend of rain and spent a majority of the time at the hotel just wondering around admiring the antiques, history, and artifacts of the 900 year old building. It is very close to the Center of Firenze which they provide a free shuttle service which i reccomend since the parking is few and far between. The Ristorante is amazing and the prices are reasonable for the delicious food the provide. I will definitely stay here again and would reccomend staying here for a wonderful experience.
