Don't Expect A lot of service

Posted Sep 16, 2014
I booked this hotel without knowing what it was or where it is based upon the price. I could not find out those things until after I booked it. It was supposed to be in the center of Florence. It was certainly not. It is modern and clean but when I arrived there with five bags, I found eight stairs outside and absolutely no one to help me with my luggage. I was not happy. The hotel seems to cater to a lot of tour groups and it does provide a very nice, varied breakfast which is included with the price. Dinners are expensive and unfortunately there is no place else close to go. The staff was efficient and moderately friendly, but overworked. I guess that's how they keep the price down. There was free Wi-Fi. I would not stay there again because the location was simply not convenient and I probably spent €100 on cabs within four days.

Great Hotel

Pros: Everything.
Location: We enjoyed the location - very quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very modern hotel with a huge bathroom. Location is a little away from the centre but an easy and enjoyable walk along the river.

Great all round

A little away from the city centre but that's what we like. Near the river and close to transport. Room was big spacious had a bath but plug was broken. Free wifi and great breakfast. Definitely would stay here again. Had a balcony which was great.

Excellent Hotel and value for money. Good location

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Location, value for money, quality.
Cons: Free parking for hotel guests.
Location: Central Florence, visiting the Duomo.
We spent one night at the hotel and were impressed with the spacious clean rooms, quality of decor and bedding. Breakfast had a good choice for Continental and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence. Trams and bus access is good if you don't want to walk into the central areas.

Modern hotel in a quiet area

Posted Jul 22, 2014
- very modern hotel in a quiet area of town - about 5 minute walk to the nearest tram station and about 12-14 minute walk to the central station - room is very clean and tidy and resembles more of a 5 star hotel - breakfast buffet is excellent - overall 4.5/5

Beautiful Hotel just a bit far from attractions

Posted Jul 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed the stay and as far as easy of access to Train Station it was one TRAM ride away. The Hotel was lovely and breakfast was fairly diverse. Our room was great the first 2 nights and then the last 2 nights it was given maybe a 5 minute throw the sheets up and replace toilet paper. Toilet was not cleaned and soap and shampoo was not topped up. However I went to the lobby and the front desk fixed everything on the spot and even gave me a travel bag. Very nice. I would recommend this hotel, I think it was very busy the last 2 nights as one bus load tour was leaving and another was coming on that 2nd to last night. Great front desk service and very helpful.

A bit far to walk to duomo

Posted Jul 17, 2014
The hotel itself is very good. Good staff, good condition, good facilities and good breakfast. However, it's a bit far to walk to other tourist sites. But u can take tram by just one stop from Santa Maria novella station. So it's not a problem if u have a lot of luggages. It's good for exploring the other side of river Arno as it's just a bridge away.
