Front desk service was excellent! Rooms are very clean and comfortable.Location is great. To book hotel is much better thru Expedia because rates is better.Next year the hall family will stay in this hotel.I was very happy .

Staying in this hotel as part of a six city tour of Italy. Was a little apprehensive before arrival because our stay in another NH hotel, in Pisa, had been awful. This hotel more than compensated. Its location, in centre of Florence is excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms was clean and beautifully appointed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel has been sympathetically brought up-to-date with modern and very clean rooms in a beautiful setting. It was very central and all the sights were within walking distance. The breakfast was everything you expected and more. We would definitely go back there and highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this beautiful historic hotel which has been restored and is emmaculate The location could not have been more convenient as we were able to walk everywhere. Wonderful restaurant right around the corner and a block from the river.

The Hotel Porta Rossa is perfectly located, perfectly managed and perfectly designed. We were simply overwhelmed by its beauty and its staff. It is truly an extraordinary gem. The only dissappoinment was having to eventually check out.

“Awesome Location & Fantastic Hotel”

This hotel couldn't be in a better location. Aside from finding the hotel through the challenges of navigating through Florence by car, and Google Maps incorrect mapping, once our car was put in a garage, we spent a full 3 days on foot. Right out the front door of NH Porta Rossa is the beautiful pedestrian-friendly streets of Florence, cafés, restaurants, and shops. The hotel is a good mix of modern and classic design with fairly large rooms. The breakfast is impressive too.

Great hotel in great location. I travel to Florence regularly and this was my first stay at this hotel. I shall certainly choose it again.

This hotel is exciting and mysterious with surprising artistic details around every corner. The moment you walk in the door you are swept into history but you know you are in a contemporary setting. Very clever presentation and extremely comfortable. The staff is outstanding, friendly and ever ready to help. If you're looking for a nice bathroom, compfortable beds and some space you will find it here. The breakfast is served in a beautiful grand hall and is more than delicious, The neighborhood is conveniently located for freshening up and going out again after a long day of sight seeing. Would definately stay there again.

“Look no further than Porta Rossa”

We had a wonderful stay at Porta Rossa. The location is EXCELLENT and walkable to everything. The simple and elegant decor of our room was both innovative and respectful of history. (Even loved the bathroom design and features.) The breakfast room is beautiful and the buffet plentiful and delicious. Excellent and helpful service from the front desk. Definitely look forward to our return.
