“Close to Amerigo Vespucci airport”
My wife and I stayed here on our last night in Italy after a three-week stay. We found it very convenient to the Florence airport. It was easy to find and the next morning was only a five-minute drive to the airport. After our arrival at the hotel we wanted to go to the center of Florence, but the hotel's shuttle wasn't available. So we purchased bus tickets and walked to the closet bus stop, which was about a ten minute walk. We were able to book the return shuttle, which left from the train station at 6:30. Our room was very basic, but was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant has very good food, somewhat overpriced, and the service was good. This hotel met our needs very well for our last night in Florence.
“Ok Novotel”
Room was very clean, and breakfast buffet excellent. There was also a pool, which doesn´t show on photos. Free shuttle bus to downtown or aeroport helped a lot. Staff was mainly friendly, so nothing bad at all to say.
“Bad hotel, stay away”
Rooms resemble a youth hostel. Front desk staff abrupt to downright rude. restaurant food barely edible. Just a lousy hotel.
“Not impressed”
We picked this hotel because it indicated it had a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle only runs at specific times, so ended up having to get cabs. The hotel was clean however is old and the furniture is worn.

It is a nice airport hotel with friendle employees.
“Very acceptable but ...”
As noted by other reviewers, this hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and is likely to be used pretty much only by people who are taking a flight the next day. As such, the hotel is fine -- the location is not close to downtown but they provide a great shuttle. There is essentially nothing to do locally about the hotel. The biggest problem we had is that their airport shuttle doesn't start until 8am and our flight left at 7. The cost of the cab fares was robbery -- $37 for 3 people and luggage for 10 minute. The hotel needs to extend the hours of its shuttle by a couple of hours and then I would fully endorse it.
“Very nice”
Clean, modern and the staff were very accomodating. Recommend it if you need to stay near the Florence airport.
“A pretty nice hotel”
Stayed here one night because of early flight the next morning and wanted to be near the airport. Hotel was nice, although food choices were limited and expensive. Worst surprise was the taxi fare getting to the airport during early morning hours. The hotel is not as near to the airport as I assumed (from the name) and my taxi fare was over 25 Euros.
