Nice stay in Florence on a budget

Pros: Free shuttle, breakfast
Cons: Hours of the swimming pool can be longer.
Location: Airport is near, maximum 30 minutes to the city centre.
We chose the hotel as we visited Florence with two kids and all other places were small and expensive for a family room. The hotel is only 15-30 minutes away from the centre by either a free hotel shuttle ( 3 in the morning and 3 back in the evening, reservation required and may be booked up) or by bus ( 1.20 EUR per person, runs every 10-15 min, tickets sold at the hotel desk). The hotel is clean, room is a bit basic, but the breakfast is nice - good choice of cereal, croissants, eggs ( run out quickly though) and fruit juices. Kids were happy. The fitness room is tiny ( one treadmill). The swimming pool is outside and does not work well with the shuttle bus schedule - it opens at 11am ( after the last departure) and closes at 8pm, so we only had 40 minutes of swimming in the evening. Overall we had a pleasant stay and staff were helpful with directions.

This hotel is a lie

They sell you a bunch of services that are all a lie. They offer 24 hours shuttle to DT Florence and the airport, but reality is that it is only 3 times a day. In addition, you have to book the shuttle in advance. Therefore it is never available. Be careful, they charge extra for everything. What a bad service and hotels.

not a great hotel. the lobby and main floor are nice, modern, and clean. The rooms are plain, small, and uncomfortable.

Good for airport

Liked the convenience of hotel to airport and city

Cons: Cooler rooms when it is so warm. Dinner food not that great but acceptable. Preferred it to going out to eat.
Location: Mainly booked for convenience to airport and city.
Staff was extremely accommodating and very nice. Wonderful that they spoke English too. They helped with all our concerns and we also enjoyed a wonderful bus trip into Florence. The breakfast was excellent and it was so nice to be able to get a bite to eat midday in the lounge area. Loved the access to internet too. Just a little warm in the rooms without any airconditioning but otherwise comfortable.

Nothing special. Close to airport

Spent 1 night at this hotel in order to catch 7am flight on New Year's Day back to the US. Average hotel. Nothing special. Industrial neighborhood. Cost 27 euros for 1 mile cab ride to airport. Beware.

Airport hotel

This hotel really surprised us. Booked as a transfer as we arrived in Florence late and were driving to Siena the next morning. For an airport hotel, the staff were amasing. Friendly and sincere and deeply accomodating. Also had dinner in the restaurant and found the food quality and service really good. The next morning used the free airport shuttle, and as I was the only passenger the driver took me right to the car rental station. Very impressed.
