Thank you fro the review! Why you did not ask at the lobby about your problem? The control to regulate the temperature is actually on the wall in every room.

Comfort in the centre of Firenze

Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: Comfortable clean quiet hotel with friendly helpful staff, close to city centre. Staff made good recommendations on where to eat. Wifi strong.
Cons: Maybe the dining area could be a little larger but probably in summer you can eat on the terrace outside so less of an issue.
Location: Could walk in half an hour to most of the key sites.
Comfortable clean quiet hotel with freindly helpful staff, close to city centre. Worth paying a little extra for a room overlooking garden as quiet.

Todo bien

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Repito: en general, todo satisfactorio.
Cons: Repito nuevamente: que luego de las 9:30 no se pueda desayunar, resulta incomodo
Location: Buena
Lo unico objetable es el horario del desyuno, que concluye demasiado temprano.

Great place to stay to see all of Florence

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Clean, location, breakfast
Cons: Room needs a small dresser to store some clothing
Location: Duomo, Uffizi, ponte vecchio, L'accedemia for Michelanglo's work, Sante Croce, San Lorenzo market is a must.
Hotel is about 15-20 minute walk to most of Florence's must-see sights. Very quiet neighborhood with a few small cafes just a couple doors away for that late glass of Chianti. Rooms are very clean and look to be newly remodeled. Windows open wide to get a breath of fresh air. If possible get a room overlooking the garden with the lovely fountain and terrace. Breakfast at this hotel is certainly fine-a variety of breads and some pastries, cereals, fresh squeezed OJ, yogurts, meats, hard boiled eggs among other things. The hotel itself is decorated in a Tuscan theme and you really get a feel of the culture by looking at the arched ceilings and wall paintings..staff speaks English pretty well and was always very helpful and polite. I can not say enough positive things about this hotel so if you want a true feeling for the local culture with all the comfort you are accustomed to, stay here. When I return to Florence I will definitely book this hotel again.

Nice, clean hotel in the heart of Florence.

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Location: Academia Museum and Uffizi close by. Many fine restaurants close by.
Nice, clear hotel in the heart of Florence, Italy. Close to many of the attractions. Great service, and breakfast room. Staff are incredibly helpful. WiFi works great, which cab be a problem in some Italian hotels. A little on the pricy side, but everything is expensive in Florence, and it is well worth the extra nightly charge. Tours can be arranged by the hotel, although it is always best to book ahead, especially during the high season.

Only use the upgraded rooms

Posted Nov 2, 2014
the standard rooms are terrible, old, smelling of mold and dark with a lot of noice from the street. the upgraded and more expensive rooms are modern and nice, this hotel is absolutely best in the summer, with a nice garden etc

Dear Guest, The deluxe rooms in the garden are newly refurnished and we also started renovating some of the standard classic rooms, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay and I hope to see you again maybe in the summer when you can enjoy the garden. Kind regrads Judith
