Lovely Hotel, away from the busy streetsPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Away from busy streets, peaceful and quiet
Cons: play area for children
Location: away from the main town, good if you like walking and seeing the sights by foot
Came across this hotel, through expedia's "mystery hotel" deal, great value, lovely big hotel. Nice and quiet and very large spacious rooms, we had a 2 bedroom place with a little courtyard, large bathroom, lounge room and a small kitchen. Everything you would need really. This hotel is off the main streets of Florence, but well within walking distance to attractions. Rooms were tidied and cleaned daily and staff were helpful and friendly. We found taxis to be quite expensive here in florence, so if you dont like walking to attractions (10-15 min walk) then i would recommend you stay more in the town, but we loved it here.

Straight Shot to the DuomoPosted Jun 20, 2014
A nice, clean, quiet & spacious room for 3. A beautiful outside patio. Many statues and artwork throughout. The staff was super helpful in arranging tours and taxis. They had happy hour with free appetizers. Breakfast buffet was typical for Europe. Dinner choice was limited but tasty. All in all a good value.

Large clean rooms - 25 min walk to city centerPosted May 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was a last minute selection for us after our first hotel cancelled our reservation. Luckily they were able to accommodate us when I booked a week beforehand. For three people traveling together it can be hard to find a room but this one was great! It was bigger than my apartment at home. I could have easily lived there for a month. It was a shame I could only be there for 2 days. The included breakfast was very good (but the coffee is not good, ask for the real coffee from the servers). One thing to note, the shower was has VERY strong water pressure, so strong it actually hurt a little but it was adjustable you just have to figure out how to do it. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would def stay here again.

To many people smoking out side the main lobby.need to have a designated smoking area away from the entrance to the office .Other than that my stay was very pleasant .

Poor restaurant and plumbing problemsPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The restaurant and the room furnishings.
This is not really a four star hotel and seems to cater mainly for American seniors or students on budget trips. The staff ranged from very helpful to surly. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night. There was only one other couple dining there and most of the very limited menu was not available. The lack of atmosphere and lack of choice meant that we left and went elsewhere after the main course. The cleaning staff were excellent but the room whilst spacious was poorly furnished. The bathroom had a perpetual plumbing problem of some sort with water constantly appearing on the floor possibly from an adjacent room. We reported this on our first night but beyond mopping it up we don't think anything was done about it. In any event the problem recurred every day.

very uncomfortable roomsPosted Feb 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
it is far from centre of town, nothing to see or do around, the room looks like a homeless shelter , but other than that it was ok.
