Great Hotel!

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Hotel was very very nice and in a great location, right over the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. It was close to the airport and near everything, even a supermarket. The hotel had a sitting area on the second floor where we sat one night with our own wine and snacks and looked out onto the street. The employees were very polite and called our next hotel to confirm. The breakfast every morning was exactly the same but there were enough items to that you could have choices. It was really a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Hotel for a Long Weekend in Florence

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: the place in the centre of Florence, just three metres from Ponte Vecchio, the friendliness of the staff, fantastic view from the breakfast hall...
Cons: Preparation of the terrace during the breakfast rush hour on weekends (around 9h) even in the cold months
Friendly welcome at the reception, it took the staff only one day to remember me and my room number. Breakfast was very good and extensive (for italien standards) and a real cappuccino can always be ordered from the friendly crew (don't need to rely exclusively on the coffee machine - which produces quite good coffee as well). Room was very tidy and calm, a very comforting fact. The hotels position right a the southern end of Ponte Vecchio is ideal when one needs a few relaxing moments even during the day to recover from intensive culture or shopping sprees...

Great location and view

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Location and staff.
Location: It's 20 metres from the Ponte Vecchio so everything is close.
The location of the hotel is excellent as very central. Staff were really helpful especially the chap who served the drinks on the rooftop terrace. The view is excellent from the terrace. Breakfast is also taken on the terrace but given it was winter guest only keen to sit inside not on the outside part. This meant you might not get a table when you arrived and had to wait a little. But breakfast was good and the staff were quick to clear the tables. A good hotel and I'd certainly go back again.

Nice hotel

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: Pleasant roof terrace and decent breakfast.
Location: Very convenient for sights.
A pleasant small hotel and quite reasonably priced. Entry to many of the sights in Florence was a bit expensive typically €12.00 per person.

EXCELLENT CENTRAL HOTEL

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: ROOM COMFY ,LOVELY BATHROOM AND BREAKFAST WAS GOOD .
Cons: ACCESS TO THE ROOF TERRACE TO SEE THE VIEW AT NIGHT WAS ESSENTIAL , BUT WE WERE MADE TO FEEL OBLIGED TO BUY A DRINK WHICH WAS EXPENSIVE .
Location: UFFIZI GALLERY LITERALLY 3 MINUTES AWAY AND DUOMO ABOUT 5 MINUTES
THIS WAS THE BEST CHOICE FOR OUR SHORT STAY (3 NIGHTS ) WHICH ALLOWED US TO SEE MOST OF THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS , WHILE NEVER REALLY HAVING THE PONTE VECHHIA BRIDGE OUT OF SIGHT . IT WAS EASY TO FIND ONCE YOU FOUND THE RIVER. A LITTLE NOISY IF YOUR ROOM OVERLOOKED THE MAIN STREET BUT FOR 3 NIGHTS THAT DID NOT WORRY US .
