Excellent place to stayPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Cleanness, Bedding, Wifi
Cons: They could improve by having updated locking system as it was hard to lock or open doors.
It was very clean place and bed was very comfortable. But please note that this is not type of bed and breakfast but sort of airbnb type to stay, so you should make sure the location as it is not easy place to find and contact prior you come to here. Host explained everything we need and wifi was pretty good speed. It was not center of the florence but pretty peaceful place to stay and you can use public transportation.

Location: 10-15 mins walking to the trainstation and city center
Nice hotel with new furniture, free wi-fi and air condition (not all of the hotel have these facilities). Just very important information which wasn't provided in the description of the room - shared bathroom (you have to share the bathroom with some another people).

Quiet, comfortable and close to downtownPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Quiet, good size room, good comfortable bed, secure and you can walk to the main tourist attractions.
Cons: may not be possible (no room for improvement) but shower (ducha) is a little small for an american over 250 lb.
Location: Close to downtown Florence and Santa Maria Novella Train Station
This is our first time in a bed and breakfast facility with a shared bathroom. There are three rooms that share one bathroom and two that share the other one. During daytime we were out like everybody and nights were very quiet. After this place we stayed in two hotels with private bathroom and this one was the best even with have to share a bathroom. You can walk to downtown Florence it takes about 30 min, to Jacopino Restaurant 2 min (the best food that we had in Italy), Laundromat 10 min and to Santa Maria Novella train station 20 min where you can take the trains to Pisa or Venice or Borgo San Lorenzo (Moto GP) this ride take you thru the hills of Tuscany..beautiful!

Cheap in every sense.Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Walking distance from Historical Sites.
Cons: My "experience" is self-explanatory regarding what could be improved.
Hotel was well located in Florence, walking distance from Florence Historical Sites (Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, etc.). I received an email before my check-in date to confirm arrival time. This bed and breakfast is located in an old apartment building, with no reception available. By our arrival, the owners (an italian guy and a russian-like girl) arrived to open us the apartment. Kudos for the girl, who took the trouble of explaining to us everything. Unfortunately, the check-out time was 10:00 AM, which WAS NOT displayed at Expedia. To top it off, the guy rejected my claim in the most disgusting terms. The fact that I was tired prevented me to walk away and look somewhere else. There's no elevator, got to carry your luggage yourself. By the next day, our room was NOT cleaned, no changed sheets in bed, no changed towels in bathroom. Forgot to mention that bathroom is not private, but shared among the other rooms in the B&B. Wrapping-up : ideal for young couples & students looking for a bang for the buck (55 euros a night).

Economical and cleanPosted May 9, 2014
Location: S. Jacopino Ristorante Pizzeria in the Piazza next to the hotel.
I like many others did not realize that it was a shared bathroom situation, 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I probably would not have opted for this place had I realized. Having to call the owners to check you in was also a surprise as they do not live on the premises. However, once there you make the best of it. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The wifi was excellent! You are about half a block from a Laundromat, several coffee shops/bakeries and a fabulous restaurant. After eating tourist food it was a nice surprise to find this local restaurant "S. Jacopino". The food was authentic, reasonable and delicious. Yes, you are about 15mins walk from the train station and maybe 30 mins from the sights but it was not an unreasonable walk. It was nice to be away from the crowds and noise of downtown Florence.

Good value for money and 20 mins from the centrePosted Apr 25, 2014
Pros: The price
Cons: The aircom did not work and a few of the sockets did not work.
Location: Easy access to the centre of Florence
The owners are very friendly and helpful. The accomodation is simple but good value and you only had to share the bathroom with two other rooms. The location is quiet. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was basic but very good value at the local cafe. It wasn't included in the room price but worth paying the extra. Its about a 20 to 30 minute walk into the centre.

Not what I expectedPosted Feb 1, 2014
Pros: The room was quite clean and very comfortable.
I booked Sweet Florence for a one night stay and as a student, figured it would be nice to have a room to myself. However, the hotel is in a different area of Florence from all of the stuff a tourist would like to see. As well, one must tell the Sweet Florence staff the exact time of arrival if one wants entry into the bed and breakfast (which is really just a converted apartment. I had trouble getting in contact with the staff to be let in the original time. The misunderstanding and inability to get into the room was an unnecessary detraction from an otherwise lovely stay.

The hotel fit my budget.Posted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: I liked this place as it fit my budget and it was easy to get around Florence from there. The room was large and roomy with large casement windows.
Cons: The one bathroom needed some fresh caulking in the shower but the bathroom itself was very clean and fresh.
Location: the location is a good one and its possible to do a day trip by train to Pisa for 11 Euros each way. Also a day trip by bus to Chianti .
As I was traveling solo I wanted a place close to the main train station for the connections, lots of the local buses left from there also.I did book a double room as no singles were available but the price was very reasonable. As I did not have the breakfast I can't comment on it as it was extra and I was on a budget trip. Just around the corner was a plaza where there were small groceries, a great bakery with take out food and also a Cafe where I had my excellent coffee and the prices were cheap.. There were also several buses that stopped in the square , 23B took me to the station and back , but alot of times I just walked. Just get a map of local streets and purchase bus tickets from any vendor.. The couple were very helpful and the housekeeping was immaculate. Just make sure you travel with personal soaps and a facecloth which does no seem to be provided in Italy.Florence is a walking city and I felt safe at all times.

Amazing Bed&BreakfastPosted Nov 1, 2013
This is the best Bed&Breakfast I have ever been to. If you traveled in Italy, you may know that excellent service, ability to speak English, cleanliness and comfort is something you don't get everywhere (especially if you travel on a tight budget). We have checked in really late but informed the hotel about our arrival time. They even made a special trip to let us in (since the owner lives in a different location). You should know that this is a big apartment that have been redeveloped to accommodate visitors in each room. Though very nice, modern and still authentic. Strongly recommended!
