Good hotel if you will spend a lot of time outsidePosted Nov 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
I liked the stay but the grouchy waiter that gets you seated at breakfast can improve his manners, not the guy that greats you and highlights your name but the one that gets you seated. I think the coffee makers everyday broke down and had to wait for them to do something. The shower has not too much water pressure and there is like a gas smell when you turn the water on

Great Hotel Suites roomy and close to railway statPosted Sep 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
These hotel suites are great. Large rooms, newly refurbished, tow bathrooms, two TVs, kitchenette, two safes, very firm large bed, refrigerator, overall excellent accommodation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well located to the railway station, only a minute or so from the station if you come out on the right hand side. This hotel had changed its name form when we booked and when we arrived so was a bit hard to find however once done it was fine. This hotel has two front doors, one for the suites and one for the hotel accommodation. The entrance for the suites is not well marked so look for three flags above the door. They have now updated google maps with the correct location which was wrong at the time we arrived. Lots of resteraunts close by and easy walking to all the main attractions. We would highly recommend the suites.

Don't bother stayingPosted Sep 16, 2012
Cons: The smell
Location: Ok, close to most attractions.
We had read good reviews on tripadvisor on this hotel but they had failed to mention how the certain rooms had trash like order which the staff blamed it on the river and hot weather. I had read how it was so close to the train station but it was not very easy to locate. It took us an half hour just to find it after having to circle the train station. Room 185 does not have wifi connection due to the location of the room. Also the furniture looked like it came from Ikea standard and the bed was not comfortable. I would not go back to stay ever.

We walked to all the main sights from herePosted Jul 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
The description said sound proofed, which the windows were, however, the rooms were not so much. We could hear our neighbor going to the toilet from our bedroom and hear the water flushing down the wall. But aside from that it was a brilliant location, and just a walk across the entrance of the Florence SMN. Plenty of room in the suites. We were very happy.

Beautiful hotel -- but, mind the neighborhoodPosted Jul 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is spacious, clean, new and comfortable. It's a solid 4+ stars. Great Bedding (which is super important to me). I would have liked to stay longer, but my kids were not comfortable. This place is right next door to the bus station and train station. The immediate neighborhood is sketchy at night. It is only three blocks away from the area we usually stay in Florence, and is okay by day, but at night the walk is a bit on the creepy side. I chose it because I had some day trips planned and wanted to be close to the train station.
