綺麗だし、便利な場所でした

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros:

Best location

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Can't get any closer to Santa Marilla Novella. The hotel is clean, staff is great (except the hostesses at breakfast who were a little brash), and my bed was comfortable. I would return here every time I am in Florence.

Close to all the important Florence sights

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: The central and convenient location, the helpful, affable staff, the modern style, room cleanliness, the excellent breakfasts.
Cons: The hotel has some kind of centralized heating system, and they had turned it off to early in the year. So our room was cold.
Location: Right beside the train station, less than 8 blocks from all the main museums, restaurants, and shopping.
We took a 2 hour high-speed train from Venice to Florence as many travelers do. Finding the hotel right next to the train station was a challenge because Google maps shows it in the same building as McDonalds. It is directly opposite that building on the other side of the train station piazza. From there you can easily walk to Duomo, Academy Gallery (David statue), Uffizi Gallery (largest museum in Florence) and other sights. There are restaurants in abundance, shopping throughout that region. And you can take a train day-trip to Pisa as we did (highly recommended). The hotel staff can help you with museum tickets and tours, though in busy seasons booking tickets on the internet ahead of time is advisable. Be sure and print the tickets you purchase. Museums insist on a paper copy. The hotel is one of two C-Hotels together, and the morning breakfast provided is wonderful and complete right down to eggs, pancakes, cereals, pastries, and the ubiquitous cappuccino machines. We stayed in a suite that was very comfortable. Some U.S. TV programs are on some channels and you can switch languages to English on their TVs. The room comes with a safe, mini-bar, and plenty of closet space. For an excellent Florence experience regardless of the days you have allotted, we would certainly recommend The Style Hotel.

Conveniently located opposite the main station

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Replace the mattrasses with a softer alternative.
Location: The Santa Maria Novella Basilica is across the street. Ponte Vecchio is about a 15 minute walk away.
We were very happy with the location of the hotel. We used the train opposite to travel to Pisa and to Cinque Terre, and the bus station next door to return to the airport. It was lovely not to have to lug our suitcases far. The hotel is also a short and pleasant stroll to all the attractions of Florence. The bedroom had everything we needed and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the bed was a little hard. I'm not a big fan of beds that are too firm. I was still able to sleep well though.
