Good but too loud

This location was conveniently located to a lot of nice sites and restaurants, but unfortunately it is directly on the corner of one of the busiest Piazzas in Florence. Every night of the week there were people out side in the square drinking, smoking and talking/shouting until 3am. Unless you have earplugs. I would not recommend this location or stay in it again.

Pros: a beautiful apartment in a stunningly GREAT location
Cons: Running the gauntlet in the main office
Location: Right next to the duomo in Florence. The location could not have been better
The apartment was beautiful, but be aware of hidden charges that inflate the cost! $25 PER PERSON for towels and $25 PER PERSON for the cleaning deposit. The staff in the main office was kind of snippy about this. So if your stay is short term, as ours was, it is not really cost effective to stay in an apartment. Also, one air conditioner was broken; the office staff said it would be fixed, but it never was. Also, I booked a one bedroom apartment but was told on arrival that it would be a studio, only to get there to find it WAS a one bedroom. The office lady then told me that I was lucky to get a "major upgrade"? All in all, the apartment was great but the office staff was not a pleasant experience.

Hotel services poor. Very difficult to contact the agent. We were given an apartment few streets away from the agency. There is no way to contact them except walking to the agency again when we found some problems in the room. Just bear in mind the cleaning charges of 25euro per person is mandatory. So we basically ended up paying an extra of 100euro on top of the price. Our room were basic, definitely unlike the pictures shown above. Not worth the price.

Beautiful, but hidden fees...

We loved the apartment we stayed at! It was nice and had a great location! The only thing that was irritating was that we were charged a 25 euro clean up fee per person when we checked in. And then at the end we weren't aloud to check out until someone when to the apartment and made sure it wasn't destroyed. I don't know if I would stay again just because of the hidden fees, but overall it was a nice place.

the location is in the center of the city. Apartment price is cheap but service is very expensive. but the location of the apartment is very good.

My own apartment!

Great having my own apartment. Located near the heart of Florence. Roof top patio with great views. Washing machine included, a big plus although it took 2 hours to wash. Stove qnd fridge included. Fold out Ikea bed. It was q tiny apartment but just what I needed. Located on the top floor with over 80 stairs, a little tough with bags and at the end of the night with a few beers in me. Direct TV Heated. lots of natural light. 5 minutes of hot water, normal for Florence Rental office provided a google map so easy to find the place, and free bag check. Refundable deposit was not made clear before booking. MUST CLEAN THE PLACE BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

Buyer beware

BE VERY CAREFUL when booking this property. Firstly, the location and overall state of it was good (floors were very dusty though), it was very comfortable however for couples the bed was way too small and we folded out the couch. There is a €15 charge for sheets. What annoyed me is that we were charged €300 in fees!!! We were told that this was to be refunded when we checked out after about 3 days. This threw us out and admittedly I only checked the general notices on the website. But it did put a bad taste in our mouths and spoiled our stay.

Don't Go!

This apartment was terrible, you think it’s an inexpensive apartment but on arrival find out you have lots of surcharges to pay. You have to pay surcharges for energy, a holiday fee, a cleaning fee, a fee for towels, a fee for bed linen, and a fee for WI-FI. The fee’s end up being extortionate and you end up paying what you would pay in a much better hotel. Even if you stay for a few days you will end up paying the equivalent energy bill for a month and you do not get the services you pay for. When we got to the apartment we also found it to be unclean, particularly the kitchen and the facilities were old and in much need of refreshing. The air conditioning was very temperamental. Little things annoyed me like the lightbulbs which needed replaced in every room (Particularly as we had paid the energy surcharge), needing to clean the kitchen and the WI-FI doesn’t work in the apartment it only works in the staircase. The washing machine is shared and sits in a courtyard, covered in rust. The only two positives of this hotel were its location, it is a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and other points of interest, and the apartment was really spacious.

Beware the fees

The apartment was clean, but the table had three wobbly chairs and one was broken. Actually the stay was nice, although make sure you add up the daily fees and do the conversion as the property can be a bit pricey. Even though a bit costly, the location was convenient and very walkable.

Your Apartment in Florence

The apartment in Florence was fabulous! It was clean, well kept, and ideally located. I liked almost everything about it. I especially like the idea of not having a maid come into my room everyday. I really felt comfortable there. The down side to the apartment was that it did not have an elevator. When we had to lug our luggage up over 85 steps, I thought I would die! You have to be in good shape, and you certainly will be when you leave. Besides getting the luggage up, I did not mind it otherwise, but I did not like the fact that we were told that it was on the second floor. It was on the 4th. We were also told that there was complimentary internet service, but found out that it cost extra. I wish I had know that we needed to pay for sheets and towels. According to what I read prior to the trip, it said you paid for additional towels and sheets. It was very expensive for rags we were given. The towels we got were gray with age, well-worn, and had holes. Although it does not sound like I enjoyed the apartment, on the contrary, I loved it. It was ideally located, had a fantastic view, and looked fresh and clean. I would recommend it to anyone that could handle all those steps. I know I will go back again when I visit.
