“Key west lover”

Really loved the overall spaciousness of the condo. Other than a little updating, it was absolutely perfect! Pool area was wonderful and well taken care of. The location of the complex was spectacular! Although you could not swim in the ocean in front of the resort, the public beach was directly next to it, so was not an issue at all! A car was definately needed to get to town, but was well worth having anyway!

“Great Place for the $$$$”

After spending 11 days at 1800 Atlantic I certainly would encourage people to stay there. The location is great, close enough to Duvall street yet far enough away that the crowds do not exist. I would take a cab to Duvall street for my nights on the town and the fare would be 8 bucks. The beach is right at the end of the building, the pool area is really nice, and the indoor parking is a nice plus. The condo itself was spacious, equiped with everything you could need, had a nice big balcony with an ocean view, and a washer and dryer. I suppose some might say the decor was dated, but when you go to Key West, your outside 16 hours a day, and if your not, you might just as well stay home. The condo was a real bargin and I hope to stay there again.

“Needs updating”

This is not a hotel but a condo complex that is about 50% owner occupied and 50% vacation rentals. Located right on the ocean but not near any services. You will need a car to get to Duval Street or walk 30 plus minutes which we did a couple of time but with a young son and one of our moms with us it was not walkable daily. The space and the view of the condo that we rented were great. However, if you are light sleeper be aware that our unit was on the third floor just above a very busy road where cars had to slow and then accelerate around an extreme corner. The trucks and moter bikes were loud weekday and weekends alike. The was last decorated in the early 80"s, everything was pink and light blue and extremely worn. The bedding was old and cheap, towels were tread bare and the mattresses were sunken and lumpy. It had 3 large sliders that opened to a large balcony, the unfortunate part is that the vertical blinds would not open without falling apart. The dead bolt was not functioning correctly and we were locked out...twice and required security assistance. The dryer did not heat and we had to take 2 loads of wet laundry home with us. We may have gotten a bad unit and would request specific unit pictures before I would even think about returning. Bottom line it was great size and a good location but this owner needs to attend to details like basic bedding updates and painting the walls in all rooms. Good luck if you rent with this particular company.

“Very noisy street traffic.”

We rented a two bedroom condo, and the space was large and lovely. The major downside was the extremely busy street below - traffic all day and night, right at a curve in the road, so vehicles accelerated noisily past us constantly. I spoke to the management about being on the street priot to arrival and I was assured it wasn't noisy. This was very expensive, and not worth the cash due to the noise. If you are interested in staying here, do not rent a unit on the street side.

“Nice , but .........”

The location was great, the pool was beautiful, the condo was very roomy and clean BUT......... the beds were very old and NOT comfortable at all. Maybe another condo in the complex has better beds but, no way to know. My husband slept on the couch one night other than the beds..... it was very nice. Decor was dated.

“Great place for mid-sized family”

Nice place, looks like a Womens Prison from the outside but very nice on the inside. Condo's feeling the abuse of weekly renters... broken doors and shower tiles. Over all great place plenty of space for 3 teens, and very close to beach excellent pool area. We would go back.

“Nice quiet place. Not a hotel but it was nice to have all the room. Nice pool”

Key West is a nice place but not for kids, resturants do not cater to young ones. Nice place for drinking etc.

“Not impressed”

I left my dog in better accomadation back in England. It looks like a 1960's concrete car park from ourside , smells inside - not a pleasant smell. The room had not been updated since the 1960's. We had booked 3 nights and could only stand to stay 1. I would not return if you paid me

Room was very dirty. Washer and Dryer didn't work well, kitchen not clean. Overall now a very well kept property.
