“Very pleasant stay”

This was one of the more reasonably priced hotels on Key West. The room was vey attractively decorated, looked out on the gorgeous pool area. We had a balcony, an excellent continental breakfast was included. Staff was helpful, you can rent a bike there, and it is on the water, with a sandy beach, but no swimming and not far from downtown. It's adults only. Quite nice!

“Perfect Honeymoon”

Banana Bay is not a spot for luxury and downtown convenience. Its a nook to enjoy the complete relaxation that is Key West. It's a slight trek to Duval St. and other points of interest, but is very vehicle friendly. The room was spacious with a beautiful canopy bed that topped off the charm. If you're looking for an all inclusive experience with pampering, this is not the location for you. Banana Bay is a comfortable, affordable, accessible and quiet glade of pure Key West.

“Best of both worlds”

It represents old Florida. It is older building and styling which is what we like. Rooms are Tropical, and wall paper peeling in bathroom was only sign of maintenance needed. It is away from Duval but only 3-5 minutes on scooter (recommend this type of trans) pool is attended by locals that are friends of owner I guess, but they made the pool time more interesting. It was fun. It was our 20th anniversary and it made it interesting of course being an adults only.

“More than expected”

This place is better than its star rating. Just what I was looking for some connect time with a special person. Pool had great atmosphere, tiki bartender was friendly, beach area was raked and clean, rules were few and relaxed, bananas and coconut trees with white king pigeons all added to the experience. She loved it!

There are not enought good things to say.I love the room,pool,free breakfast and the great people tht work there. I will return soon.

“2nd honeymoon”

If you go to Banana Bay expecting a resort you will be disappointed. However, for the price you get a great location, Free Parking, a beautiful pool, Balcony, small tanning beach, a child free environment and a spacious room. Still, just a nice motel. We spent most of the time we weren't in town just tanning with a book by the pool. Perfect for what we needed. The staff was fantastic.

“Wonderul hotel for the price!! Will go back again!”

Large, comfortable, clean room. Beautiful bed with canopy. Not too far from town. Great pool area. Only negative thing would be the access to the water... there really isn't any. If you do go in the water it is full of seaweed. But if you want a great room and pool for a great price, then this is the place.

“Good pace to hang your hat”

Hotel was very nice. The management is really making an effort to update property. In the Keys you don't stay all that much in the hotel room anyway, too much to do. A good price for what you get.

“So Good We Stayed An Extra Night”

This quiet resort was an unexpected surprise. The location was great and the price moderate for what you recieved. Breakfast was great too. Next time we go to Key West, we will go back!
