“Not Impressed”
Beach almost non exsistanct. No view of water. Tropical view is nothing more that growm up trees and bushes that were higher than the 3rd floor windo. Could not see anything. Water in bay filthy, would not enter by gun point. Pool filthy and only 4 ft deep in center. Not heated as stated. All the pictures are photo shopped to make it look like it was a beautiful beach, luxury rooms. Could not regulate the a/c, mattress was lumpy. Hated it every day. Would not pay 25.00 a night for this place..
“Very Impressed, would stay again.”
The hotel was smaller than other hotels in the area but that added to the feeling of it being a real vacation rather than a chaotic environment. The continental breakfast offered just enough to not be overwhelming. The staff was helpful and friendly which added to the overall experience as you never felt they were "too busy" to answer your questions or give you some insider tips to the area.
“Great location, tiny beach”
Almost all the rooms are tropical view meaning there is no ocean view in these rooms. The hotel was very clean and rooms in great condition although not a lot of sunlight. The location is very close to Key Largo attractions and restaurants. The hotel's beach is very small. The pool was small but clean. This hotel is a good choice for the price.
“Awesome Deal”
I selected this motel because it was the cheapest, and after over $1500 in scuba certification expenses I had to travel cheaply. When I saw the motel I was a bit concerned, not worried, but concerned. I did not want to travel that cheaply. I was absolutely shocked. The staff was beyond friendly. While a bit small, the room was very comfortable. The all tile floors were perfect for beachgoers or divers. The one downside, which really wasn't a big deal, was the free continental breakfast. Bread and convenience store pastries hardly make for a continental breakfast. That being said, I did not even know that they offered any breakfast. The location was perfect, nearly right across the street from the marina and all of the dive centers (shout out to Rainbow Reef). One note of caution, do not go here (or really anywhere in Key Largo) expecting a beach. I did expect one, though had no interest in going to one. No harm, no foul. Bayside Inn exceeded my expectations and helped make for a perfect vacation.
“Bad Hotel”
I did not stay at the hotels because of the condition of the room and the grounds of the hotel. EVERYTHING needed to be updated including the pool furniture. The room was dirty and the blinds were broken.
“" A little pricey but very convenient location and nice room"”
The only thing i did not like about the hotel was the price.
“Pool is like a large bathtub”
The hotel was fair to good. Clean. Could use some fruit at breakfast. The pool/jacuzzi was like an oversized bathtub. Personnel very pleasant!
“Key Largo”
I would not recommend staying in Key Largo. If you are going to see beautiful beaches and swim, this is not the place. Bayside had no beach to swim from. There is an entrance into the water but it is merky and uninviting. The pool is extremely small. They advertise kayaks for for peolpe who book inline, but when we arrived we were told they wer 12.00 per hour to rent. After seeing the area to load into the h2o we decided to spend our free time off of the resort. Front desk staff not very friendly at all.
“cant wait to go back”
everything was a wondeful expierience for confort , and relaxation i plan to return, the location is great for shopping and site seeing.
“Not a good value”
The room was filthy- Sheets and towels were stained a medium grey color, windows were filthy, floors were very dirty. Our feet turned black just from walking from the shower to the dresser or beds. The AC did not work- It did not blow cold air, the air it blew smelled of mold. 2 of the 3 staff members we encountered were rude. One of them was engaged in an arguement with someone on the phone, I presume her manager. The other was a housekeeper who refused to move her housekeeping cart so we could exit the elevator with our luggage and 2 toddlers. The pool area looks great in photos, but in real life is falling apart. The furniture around the pool is in very bad shape, the cushions on the lounge chairs are infested with mildew. The brick pavers around the perimeter of the pool are loose, and there is old chewing gum stuck on the patio around th pool. On the positive side...the room had an enormous plasma tv, and a newer mini-fridge. This hotel is NOT a good value, since I am prohibited from discussing the exact cost versus what I felt it was worth, I will have to leave it at that. I wish I had spent the money per night to stay at a brand name hotel, where you know what you are going to get when you check in.
