Nice view of ocean

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Nice grounds. Did not stay in the main lodge- elevators were dirty and dingy. Ate at Atlantic's Edge which was very nice. Not all staff was as friendly as you would expect with a 4 star rating. Pool was nice but lounge chairs were stained and wait staff not very attentive.

Excellent hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Expedia, this was the best deal we ever made with you. I'm looking forward in finding more inclusive deals like this again in the near future. This was the very best vacation ever! We definitely will come back here to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was truly beautiful! Too bad we only stayed for a short time. We upgraded our room, and let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you Cheeca Lodge! Til we see you again hopefully next year.

Gluten free friendly

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Beds are very comfortable. Clean pools and grounds, well tended. Everyone very helpful, good customer service
Cons: Kayaks only available between 9.30- 5pm. In the middle of summer it's too hot to go out most of the day so opening until 6.30 would have been nice.
Location: Try Mangrove Mikes for gluten free pancakes .
We spent 3 days here and really enjoyed the hotel and facilities on offer. Lovely warm pools and the ocean was like a warm bath. Very shallow. Small sheltered sea pool popular with children as well as a swimming pool with adjacent bar. Adult pool quiet and cabanas free on a first come first served basis. Limoncello has gluten free pizza and pasta so great for children who don't like salads. Lots of restaurants nearby to try if you want something different. Overall would recommend.

MOST AMAZING HOTEL EVER

Posted Jul 2, 2014
From the moment my husband and i arrived every employee at Cheeca Lodge greeted us and made sure we were finding everything okay. They have a lot of fun water activities too! I tried parasailing for the first time and all the employees in charge of that were great, they made me feel secure even though it was my first time doing anything that crazy! i will be returning to the Cheeca Lodge (:

Beautiful hotel with great scenery.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Rooms, scenery, staff, location. Very relaxing. Not a million kids running around--many adults and couples instead.
Cons: Food and prices for the food and drinks.
Location: Tons of restaurants very close to the lodge. Close to Anne's beach. Close to many marinas, shopping areas.
Great landscape, views, seating areas. Nice staff. Loved our room. Tried the sushi restaurant on site and it was just okay. Prices were high similar to the rest of the restaurants in the keys, but the portion size was very small for the price. Drinks at the bar were also outrageous. Snorkeled with the hotels snorkeling group and it was very easy and nice. Had a great time on our anniversary vacation.

This was the most amazing place. A+ service!!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Absolutely everything.
Cons: Nothing I can recall.
Location: At the resort you get free bikes, sea kayaks and fishing equipment, they have a brilliant tiki bar. Swimming with Dolphins and shark bar are close.
My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our 1 year wedding anniversary. From champagne at arrival to a complimentary late check out, we were absolutely amazed by the well trained and caring staff, the thoughtfulness of their service and the fabulous setting and facilities of this beautiful venue. In particular we would like to thank Misha, who was wonderful and even send us a hand written card, champagne and treats to the room for our anniversary. We will for sure return to this paradisaical place in the future and highly recommend it.

Great experience

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Great view of ocean and outdoor seating. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee/ tea bar in the mornings.
Cons: Complimentary continental breakfast would be nice.
Location: Hurricane monument, Scuba Diving Museum, plenty of fishing/ glass bottom boat tours on Islamorada and Key Largo.
Hotel grounds were immaculate, the staff was very friendly. Plenty of activities to keep busy and relaxing at the same time. Loved the included amenities- i.e kayaking, tennis, dvd rentals. We received a complimentary room upgrade which was very much appreciated. Ours was a family vacation but I'd happily return as a romantic getaway as well.

Beautiful Suite, Tommy Bahama furnishings

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: I felt very safe. I liked the gated entrance so people could not sneak in and use the pool areas and other facilities.
Cons: Nothing to improve upon. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to return soon!!
Location: We loved Lazy Days restaurant for dinner. It had a beautiful view if you dine outside on the porch. The food and drinks were great!
We usually go to Duck Key for a weekend get-away but we decided to try the Cheeca Lodge for a change. It exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very friendly. Our suite was beautiful. We ate at the Atlantic restaurant on the hotel grounds. The food was excellent as well as the service. We enjoyed relaxing by the adult pool and the waitress at the bar made awesome tropical drinks. We also spent a few hours on the beach and waked on the pier.
