“Classic Key West”

Loved everything about it. Just off Duval Street and close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room opened to a private deck that went right to the pool area. We loved it.

“Great alternative to a hotel”

Beautiful cozy place to stay. Easy walk to downtown Key West attractions. Wonderful continental breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor under the roof, so that even though the room was large, most of it was unusable because of the slanted ceiling. The bath was tiny, but we did not choose this place for regular hotel amenities, but rather for location. An unexpected bonus was the friendliness and helpfulness of the desk folks. Would definitely go back, but ask for 2nd floor instead.

“Terrific location, close to Duval, quiet at night”

Please staff, lovely room off pool, light breakfast offered, great location, good parking available, small but comfortable room....we had 4 adults with two double beds but it was still okay.

“Love Chelsea”

It is a darling place...a little (not much) removed from Duval St. It's well maintained and a pleasure just to sit by the pool. Very clean. Staff nice. It would be nice to have all taxes/fees included in Expedia quote.

“Would return to this Inn in a second”

The room I stayed in was small, for two adults, but nicely decorated. The bathroom was very quaint with a glass block wall, between the bedroom and bathroom, and a pedestal sink. The fan moved slowly but the AC unit kept the roon comfortably cool. The continental breakfast was nice. It consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, toast, bagels, English muffins, coffee and juice. This was served in the pool area and was a nice way to begin the day. The Inn is located about two blocks from Duval Street. I enjoyed the Inn very much and will stay there again on my next trip to Key West..

“Great Place to stay in town!!”

If your staying in town when you go to Key West I suggest you stay at the Chelsea House. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. The room was perfect for what we needed.It was small but if you're going to spend a lot of time in your room then don't go to Key West!!!!!! The bathroom was large and when two people are getting ready to go that is very nice!! The pool was very clean and refreshing. A nice area to relax around the pool and take a nap. I would like to have some cool island tunes pumped into the pool area to set the atmosphere, just saying! The breakfast was good. I read reviews about the breakfast and it is a continental breakfast, nothing more!! I don't know what people expect!! All in all if I were to stay in town again i would stay at the Chelsea House !!!! Oh yeah, the location is great for walking distance to just about everything!

“Great Hotel in the heart of Key West”

We traveled as a couple and had an awesome time there! The staff was very friendly and helpful; when we arrived they gave us a map and showed us all the interesting places to go, which really helped! The room was a little small, but big enough for the two of us and absolutely comfy! The only thing that was disturbing was that the air conditioning was right over the bed and pretty loud. Everything was really clean. You get towels for the pool, so you don't have to bring some. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and absolutely recommend the Chelsea House!

“Great discovery for us!”

After staying in the usual motels on this trip, we were very pleased with our "discovery" of this 1870's Key West house. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We had a room on the third floor which meant sloping ceilings following the roof lines. But it was comfortable, clean, cool and the supplies provided were great. The breaksfast was provided by the pool and the total experience was outstanding. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here agian.

Beautiful hotel, great location, 3 blocks from Duval Street, great rates....Would definitely consider staying there again.
