A lovely island hotel that feels like Key West - beautiful lobby, great staff, excellent location right in the heart of happenings on Duval St.

“Great Hotel in the middle of everything!!”

We had a great stay at this hotel. Hotel had very good finishes on everything and was really clean. Hotel is right in the middle of everything on Duval St. If you are doing the Duval crawl, it's not a long crawl back to the hotel! Bathroom was very compact, but very nice otherwise. Conceirge set up a terrific sunset cruise on a schooner that was well worth the price. Can't wait to go back again!

“Great location”

We came as part of our honeymoon. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent location in the middle of Duval Street. When you're done partying, the hotel is a great haven of quiet. Very nice, modern look yet still retaining the Key West vibe. We could walk everywhere along Duval Street, and we walked to the Hemingway House and the Southernmost Point. This hotel has some history too and it's the tallest on island. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great location”

Hotel is located right in the heart of Old Key West on Duval Street. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel is very well maintained even though it is old. Bathrooms were spacious with numerous amenities and hair dryer.

“A hotel that combines local color and a great view”

I like older hotels because they have character. And this one is loaded with it -- courtesy of Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams! Yes, the rooms are small, but that's not unusual for an establishment of this vintage. The view from The Top -- the rooftop bar -- is exquisite. You can see the entire island from up there, sunsets included. The fitness center isn't great and they don't have a business center (free wi-fi instead), but how important is that when you travel to Key West? I loved being in a historic hotel in the center of Duval.

“The Best”

We stay at this hotel for numerous reasons. The location puts you within walking distance of everything. The rooms are immaculate, service is unbeatable, and the staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. They have parking, which is at a premium in that town. There are plenty of motels that are less expensive several miles away, and I have stayed at them before, but this place makes for an enjoyable, uncomplicated vacation. It is a true taste of the Carribean, and that is why we all go to Key West

couldn't ask for much more than what we got at La Concha. the concierge was wonderful and extremely helpful (tried shopping for excursion prices, but the conceirge prices were the same as the others- save yourself the work and book everything through them). Quite even though right on Duval street.

“LaConcha Hotel in Key West”

I loved staying at this hotel....a little confusion at check in ...we arrived early. The front desk person told us they would call us when our room was ready. At 6 p.m., no one had called, so we returned to check in. The front desk person who was there at that time said she wished she had known we were Priortiy Club members and she could have gotten us in earlier. I had given my Priority Club card to the desk attendant the first time I was there. Not sure what was going on there, but none the less, we got checked in. We had a Duval St balcony King room and it was very nice, with the exception of the bathroom being the size of a closet. Jack',s the restaurant in the hotel, is very good! Great servers and very good food!

“Great location”

Perfect location...we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Scooter rentals in their own parking lot were very convenient as well. I would recommend this hotel

“great spot”

this hotel was in a great location for walking to all the restaurants and nightlife along duval st. bike rentals out back made it easy to ride to the state park and it's beautiful beach! a little noisy on the week-end but again you are right in the middle of all the action. i would definetly go back. the rooms are small but stately and very comfortable. compared to the prices along the waterfront, this was definetly the better value and probable more fun!!
