“Worked for us!”

The hotel was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It had a mini kitchen. If we go back we are likely to stay there longer. They also had villas for rent. We were only there for one night, but it was a good stay.

“BARELESS MATTRESS”

HOTEL'S STAFF SLOW, THERE OWE ME MONEY BECAUSE I UPGRADED BUT MY MOTHER PASSED. AND I LEFT 4 DAYS EARLY. THE BEDS KING SIZE HAVE ONLY QUEEN SIZE FLAT SHEETS...NOT FITTED SHEETS AS EVERY HOTEL HAS WHO WANTS TO SLEEP ON A MATTRESS THAT HAS TOO SMALL OF COVER DISGUSSING! HOUSE KEEPING COMES AROUND 4PM...NO SOAP OR COFFFEE REFILLS, VACUUMING NEVER HAPPEN...TIKKI BAR SELLS BEER ONLY AND NO FOOD SOLD ON PREMISS

We arrived at our hotel to find our hotel reservations had been canceled this hotel due to lack of contact info. They did not contact Expedia or us, and just canceled our reservations without letting ANYONE know. I went to the front desk to check in we were told (after driving three hours to get there) that we did not have a room to sleep in. Not only was the MANAGER (Steve was his name) rude to us, he did NOTHING to try to help us correct our reservations. The manager denied that he, or his office, had anything to do with the cancellation and blamed it on Expedia. I called Expedia to find out what was going on because we had already paid in full for our room, and they had NO KNOWLEDGE of any cancellation. I then called Days Inn Corporate and they confirmed that the Days Inn in Islamorada did in fact cancel our reservation and that’s when I was informed that it was because of lack of contact information. Steve the manager still did NOTHING to help us and denied that it had anything to do with him or his office. I called Expedia back, crying my eyes out that we would be sleeping on the streets, and Expedia was nice enough to try to rebook our room although they had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Not only was the customer service HORRIBLE, but the rooms were disgusting! The bathroom had hair in the sink from the previous person, and there was black in the sink, the floor in the bathroom was gross, and outside our room was a busted sewer pipe and it smelled like someone died.

“Not impressed”

The beds needed to be replaced. They sagged and you could feel the springs. The motel said I could upgrade but because I booked through an online service I would have to pay the full up-charge.
